A succulent plant belonging to the Iceplant family. It grows tiny hot pink flowers which open during the day then close at dusk. The flowers are apparently edible but I’m yet to try it!
L I K E S - a super flexible plant to grow inside or out. Frost isn’t an issue here in Melbourne however, that’s one thing it doesn’t like and it can survive a drought.
C A R E - no need to fertilise however I add some compost soil every few months. Just trim the plant as needed throughout the growing season and water every few days.
G R O W - mine started from a cutting. I simply potted it in the pictured planter box and it took off straight away, growing quickly - in a spot that gets a lot of sun. Use as ground cover, hanging plant or an indoor potted plant (mine seems to tolerate low light). If growing from seed, plant in summer ☀️
R A T I N G - an extremely easy plant to grow from a cutting. I just love the hot pink flowers but just wish there were more of them. ✔️I score these plants:🌵🌵🌵/5
Fast growing + easy to propagate + very low maintenance + great contrast in colour with the green & pink #plants#plantsofinstagram#loveplants
Tapi dua-duanya tetep keren sih. 😍
My plants and what they mean to me. During a difficult time I was struggling with mentally, I needed to find something to help keep my mind occupied and my hands busy. That's where these beauties come in! The process of planting them into new pots and watering, feeding and caring for them has helped me so much. It makes me feel somewhat important. That these plants need me to help them survive. It helps me relax whenever I'm stressed, just by taking some time out of my day to sit and admire their beauty. Watching their little growths always makes me smile because it means I'm doing something right in taking care of them! 🌿💕🌞💛 .
