• Ellie’s Evolution •
This is Ellie every Thursday starting the day she was born, up until last Thursday.
It’s crazy how much she has changed in such a short amount of time! Tomorrow will be photo 21! Meaning she will be 20 weeks old! On the home stretch to 5 months and it’s kills me how fast time is flying.
She’s started rolling, eating solids, sleeping in her cot, babbling (I swear she’s almost saying mum!), teething (poor little love), holding herself up, the list goes on!
Tomorrow brings another Thursday which means another weekly photo! I love it, seeing her growth and loving my life with Ellie. .
•BREASTFEEDING WEANING TIPS•⠀
If you are ready to end your breastfeeding journey for any reason that isn’t loss of supply, here are some tips and method you can try:⠀
▫️Dropping one feeding at a time — a more active approach, eliminating one feeding for about 3-7 days at a time, or one nursing session per week which allows your milk supply to decrease slowly without any possible discomfort. Instead of nursing for that feeding you can give a snack. Once that one feeding is illuminated successfully you may move on to the next feeding. ⠀
▫️Distraction or substitution — if your baby doesn’t have a nursing schedule you can try to anticipate when he may want to nurse and distract him or offer a substitution. Playtime, a walk outside or snack are some great ways to do so. Best to use this method if you do these BEFORE your child needs to nurse. ⠀
▫️Postponing nursing time- If your child understand enough, you can say “not now, later” sometimes they will get too busy and that “later” never comes. ⠀
▫️Shortening each nursing session-start by gradually shortening the amount of time per each feeding, until each feeding is completely illuminated. If your child is older you can try nursing while counting down with them or to a favorite song until it is over. ⠀
▫️Day or night weaning-try tackling night feeding first, for example, and then do the day feedings instead of trying to wean from both at once. ⠀
What method worked best for you? at what age did you wean your baby from nursing?⤵️⤵️⤵️

The holidays are coming and I’m one excited momma! We’ve always had a big christmases, on my side and my husbands side. Christmas was always so so fun as a kid but now that we have a family of our own it’s even more exciting to see our kids excitement. This is our first year having a Christmas of our own. No traveling, just us, quality time.
What do you enjoy most about the holidays? Do you travel?
Happy 5 months to our little big guy 💙 (only a week and a few days late)
You are my sunshine boy and have the best smile ever. I am obsessed with your snuggles and laugh. You had the best belly laughs this month while your brother was being silly. No teeth yet. Trying to steal all my food but hasn’t started solids. Officially sleep trained and is sleeping so much better at night time. Can roll over both ways but doesn’t like to often. Loved sitting up by himself and trying to steal all his brothers toys 😂
Wears 9-12 month and 18 month clothes.
We love you so much Oliver (my Ollie Bear 🐻)
Another day another Christmas tree. Now I’ve been commissioned to decorate my parents Christmas tree. Oh well, I love decorating! I’m so glad my parents found these adorable felt ornaments that are safe for my daughter to explore. If you’re decorating your tree around toddlers, then you have to try felt ornaments. They are a game changer! What are some precautions you take to make your decorations safer for children?
My little SCREAMER!
She makes us laugh and surprise other people by how loud she screams! But that’s our little Brynleigh. And this Christmas she gets to see what all the excitement is about rather than just jumping around in my tummy. 🤣
I am really enjoying how small she is and would like time to slow down but I am also cherishing all the little milestones she’s had:
Crawling, walking (in the walker), laughing, playing with her sisters, eating our food, waving “hello” & “goodbye”, doing “close-open,” and just being our precious little Brynski. You are such a precious gift, BabyGirl you are loved immensely! •
