I just want to personally thank all the parents for putting the time and energy into helping the children grow in creativity and learning. I'd like to thank my mother-in-law for her help with the kid's art supplies. A big HUGE thank you goes out to @drawntocomics for all the their help, support and allowing such a fun event to take place inside of their store. Thank you Ken, Susan and their fantastic D2C team. I'd also like to thank everyone on social media for helping out by sharing and liking our post about the Art Course. And last but not least I'd like to thank all the kids that came out to our class. Thank you for bringing the heart and soul to the class. You are all incredible, amazing and brilliant creators who'll be our future leaders. Never stop dreaming, never stop learning to obtain those dreams and most importantly never stop smiling. Smiles make the day so much better and brighter.
Ever wondered why our breakfast potatoes are called yanks?
In the 1800s “Yankees” in the Northeast enjoyed large cut potatoes roasted- with crispy pan marks on the outside and a luscious earthy center. Guests near the kitchen could hear the slang “yanks” being yelled to the cooks as a short and clear request for this popular side dish.
