My second home - @avokadomalmo. 🌿🥑☕
Why is that? I'm going to insert three texts down below from earlier this year, which I have mentioned about before (the ones who have followed me for a long time knows about this):
1. I've searched for a fikaplace with a friendly, personal and family touch all over it. I've found mine right here at this place.
2. When you have your absolute favourite fikaplace in town. This is where I pop by if I want to chill, work and hearing @usher pumpin' out loud from the speakers!
3. Earlier this year on January 25th, this place opened the same day I went down to Cabo Verde. I just had to pop by right after the trip to check it out.
When networking and connecting people which I am all up for, nice to chat with you, Victor. One of the owners here at @avokadomalmo. What a small world? Another Cabo Verdian friend in Malmö. What are the odds? 🤷🏻 Apparently Victor has been following on social media, our @gotoandsurf journey down to Sal, Santa Maria. 💚 Photo: @jeynie_ #realfoodrealhappiness#avokadomalmö#cafe#holmgatan#davidshall#avocadolove#secondhome#visitmalmö#malmö#sweden
GETTING LIT TONIGHT?🍷
🔻What to eat before drinking?
The best choice of food before a night out is something that has a natural fat content and protein which helps slow down the rate at which food leaves the stomach.
So try eating a chicken avocado sandwich before your happy hour.
🔻What to do after drinking?
It’s soo tempting to hit the hay as soon as you get through the front door, but two quick things can really help make the difference the next morning.
-Firstly, and most obviously drink as much water as you can. If you can stomach it, add a pinch of salt to the mix.
-Next, take a multivitamin will help your body recover from the effects of the alcohol.
The constant peeing during your happy hour depletes your body's level of salt, so that glass of slightly salted water will start to put things straight.
🔻How to cure a hangover?
Bananas, Tomato juice, Coconut water or Gatorade. Foods that are easy to digest: toast or cereal.
Hello fellow avo lovers! Did you know that avocados provide more potassium than bananas?! A cup of avocado will fill you with 12% of your calories for the day and this is due to the great content of monounsaturated fatty acids which make for a happy heart and can even help to lower LDL cholesterol 🥑
You guys voted for ABS & NUTRITION so here it is!
It has been a long journey to get this far, a lot of trial and error, plenty of room for mistakes and growth. One thing I’ve learned is every body is different, so don’t go thinking that eating the same foods as some else may work. You need to really understand your body. If you’re wanting to lose weight you need to be in a calorie deficit 20-30% so for me I eat 1600 calories a day 🥦🥩🥕I also lift weights 5 days a week 🏋🏽♀️ and 3 HIIT (high intensity interval training)🏃🏽♀️sessions a week. The key to all this is consistency though! I’ve been in my fitness journey now for 2 years and I’m only now seeing my little ab babies! I was never what you would consider “over weight” I just wasn’t as toned as what I wanted to be! So between nutrition, weightlifting, cardio and consistency you can’t go wrong!
