The AVIC AG600. Designed and built in China. It's powered by four WJ-6, six-bladed turboprops and sports retractable landing gear for amphibious operations. The AG600 can carry 50 people or 26,000 lbs of water. It's wingspan is 127 ft; slightly larger than a 737 MAX.
The aircraft will be used by the Chinese Coast Guard for search-and-rescue and is expected to develop into surveillance, passenger, and cargo variants.
My wife and I have a couple of unspoken rules while flying, if one of us is given an upgrade I’ll let her sit in business class but if we’re in coach, I get the window seat.
