Dan ternyata yg aq rasa pun si ibu pernah ngerasain, di anggep berbohong krn sakit yg aneh jadi bikin qt g kyk orang sakit, kadang terbaring tak berdaya, kadang sehat bs ngapain aja

Can never get enough of pizza 😍 went to @californiapizzakitchen last night and requested the manager to ensure my food will be safe, as last time I had gotten a reaction. Well let me tell you, they took it very seriously and was right on it! Even someone higher up came and spoke with me... perhaps the owner of that restaurant. He was very genuine and surprised I’d gotten a reaction with their careful procedures. In edition, he told me he would make me their new cauliflower pizza as well as the regular cheese pizza I ordered at no charge to me. Pizza was delicious as always and didn’t get a reaction. It pays to nicely speak up if you dine out and get a reaction, that way more precaution can take place. B A K E // yep...you betcha that on the first day of fall I did some baking! With all the applesauce and apple chips I’ve been making it only felt right to make applesauce muffins! I followed a recipe for Oatmeal Apple Spice muffins, mostly because it called for the most applesauce😂 and some oats and eggs and other bits. And, of course I added some Pumpkin Spice from @traderjoes (it’s just now fall, how is it that I snagged the last bottle on the shelf?🤷🏻♀️, lets hope a restock happens soon🙏🏼). .
They turned out so delicious, basically it’s like a little muffin shaped “bowl” of apple spiced oatmeal. More dense than fluffy and more hearty than sweet treat, but my kids L O V E them😍. .
So,happy fall y’all! I’ll just be over here making more applesauce and baking more things to keep in the freezer for later🙌🏼. Doing myself future favors and channeling my inner squirrel😂.
(📷 @matthew_tag ) For nearly two years my flare up from hell made me incapable of doing so many things. People didn't seem to grasp the concept of just how much total body pain I was suddenly in.
I had to say no to a lot of things, I had to forfeit my PhD scholarship. Working was out of the question, I couldn't keep up with house chores even though that's all I really had to do.
I felt like I was bringing a massive grey cloud of negativity down on everyone I knew, because for the longest time I had nothing positive to say. "I'm allergic to my first DMARD and it's not helping" "They put me on chemotherapy for rheumatoid, it's not helping plus it makes me feel so sick" "I can't go to that event because I can't stand in the one spot and there won't be seats" "I can't sleep despite the fatigue because my joints hurt too much to touch the bed" etc
Fast forward to now after being on biologic injections for 9 months and while I'm still in pain every day it's not quite as bad.
I can rest my elbows on the bed again. I can sleep on my side without my bottom shoulder feeling totally shattered. I can even flush the toilet without my finger feeling broken...the list goes on.
Nothing has ever made me appreciate the shit out of the small things so much and I'm grateful that I truly have positive things to say about my life now.
Thank goodness for modern medicine.

Delicious lentil Dahl salad 😋. Dahl is one of my all time favourite meals to make... because it’s pretty damn easy. I’ll be honest.. I’m not a huge fan of spending time in the kitchen but I know it’s important for my health.
I prepare a batch of Dahl ahead of time that can be frozen or eaten fresh with salad.
Combining your salad with Dahl is a really great way of getting those greens in without it being another ‘boring salad’. What are your go to easy healthy meals?

Going out to breakfast with friends used to be nonexistent for me. People take the little things for granted. Living with autoimmune is a real struggle. I still have my off days. Grateful for the friends, tools, and intuition I’ve gained along the way. I have learned so much in the last seven years and am honored to be on this healing journey and even more so for the amazing people around me. After talking to more nurses & doctors, it’s becoming more clear that it’s possible my Mast Cell Activation is playing a much bigger role in my GI tract than I realized. I will say that my bone, joint and muscle pain have REDUCED (🙌🏼) after hardly eating 🤷🏼♀️ 😺
Only time & perseverance will reveal the answer. 🤞🏼💜
I sat on the sidelines for 2 1/2 years. I watched as others grew and built their tribe. I would envision what my posts would say but that was it. I wasn’t ready. What did I know about encouraging others? What did I know about social media? Nothing, but I did know that I absolutely loved the community and yearned to be a part of it. Fast forward to this past summer and I finally said yes! It has been the best decision I have made in a long time! I am meeting some amazing people! And I am finding my people! I have been given this amazing opportunity and I am running with it!!!
Chronic pain? It's not having the strength to get out of bed every morning, not having the strength to even brush your hair or put on some pants ... It's feeling in a way that you can not do anything with your life, it's feeling pain as if a truck would have passed me by... It's hearing every part of your body cracking in a painful way and not knowing what to do... Not having something that helps the pain disappear for at least a minute of your life... It is having people telling you that your pain is not real, that you imagine everything or that you are reacting in an exaggerated way... It is not knowing if it is better to sleep with or without the pillow at night because it hurts anyway... It is not sleeping at night because any position you take to sleep is painful... It's feeling sad, lonely, upset, angry, because you're tired of living this way ... It's touching your body and crying because every part of your body hurts in a way that even the simplest touch makes you scream... If you know someone in chronic pain, support it, it's really hard to live that way ... Do not make them feel crazy because believe me the pain is not fake, it's real ...
