This was my practice today.
I had a little time alone and all I wanted was to slow down, feel my breath move through my body, feel my body melt down as it softened. Feel my heart beat slowly come down, and the volume of the world slightly lowered..
It’s not always flows and fancy-ness, sometimes it’s rest, restore, ground or simply breath...
YOUR practice is yours and yours only. Honour what your body needs, it’s smarter then you🖤
One day it just clicks
You realise what’s important
and what isn’t
You learn to care less about
what other people think of you
and more about what you
think of yourself.
You realise how far you
and you remember
when you thought things
were such a mess
that you would never recover.
And you smile
You smile because you
are truly proud of yourself

HONOURING THE BODY’S WISDOM
I have been battling bronchitis for the last few weeks 😷 and it has been very challenging and frustrating to stay in bed and recover. So my yoga practice at the moment is lots of Yoga Nidra to help my body truly rest and heal.
My mantra: “I honor my body’s wisdom by trusting the signals that it sends.”
My body is sending me a very clear message to slow down. When you override or ignore what the body is relaying, you interfere with the body’s natural healing process (guilty 💁🏻♀️) Sometimes the body does not want to do what you would like to do. When you honor the body’s message, you honor the body’s wisdom.

From The Light of God that I am.

By the power of my belief, coupled with my purposeful fearless actions and my deep rapport with God, my future is created and my abundance made manifest.
I ask and accept that I am lifted in this and every moment into Higher Truth. My mind is quiet.
From this day forward I give freely and fearlessly into Life and Life gives back to me with a fabulous increase. Blessings come in expected and unexpected ways. God provides for me in wondrous ways for the work that I do.
I AM indeed grateful.

Home. Iv always found it difficult to explain when people ask me why I love yoga so much. But the word home, has a place. It’s like coming home.. it’s that warm comfortable feeling, it’s like that big exhale has you throw your keys down or flop into the couch after a huge day.. it’s coming home, into our bodies and checking in, something we don’t do enough of🖤

The 3 C’s: Consistency•Commitment•Confidence 🙌🏻 I find Sometimes I get so caught up in the HOW that I loose sight of the WHY! I can be so passionate about bringing a dream to reality but if I have no idea of how I’m going fulfill this dream my doubts start to kick in and I loose sight of why I was so driven and passionate at the first place!
I’ve realised the key to seeing your dreams, hopes and goals through is the three C’s 😅❤️
Let’s talk VEGAN staples! Lentils... about as misunderstood and under appreciated as veganism itself 😆🙄
People who think Vegans only eat salad are likely the kind of people to be repelled by lentils. When In fact they are the tastiest, cheapest and most simple to prepare meals that tastes better and better each passing leftover day! These guys are high in protein, fibre, iron and all the essential metals the body needs! They are amazing for maintaining digestive and cardiovascular health, while also effectively alkalising the body ❗️🤓

Aerial Yoga has become a large part of my daily practice as it reflects the feeling of freedom and weightlessness I’m experiencing here 📿🤸🏽♀️
Im really enjoying the fact that I’m not fixated on how I’m supposed to be practicing, but rather having fun and feeling out how I can incorporate my flow to this rig! I’ve always loved the deep stretches you can create on these setups, but something happens when you can just gaze up into the clouds... breathing in some of the freshest air these lungs have ever taken in...I feel like I enter a vortex of bliss! A lucid trance where the wind carves shapes into my body and the sky magnetises me up towards the heavens 🌬☁️
