Leaf it out 😋🍁 After making a nature smoothie with mud and other delights as part of a children's woodland trail held at the fair, my little wildling thought she'd found an open buffet. It's safe to say, based on her resultant expression, that's one meal I won't be sampling – despite her valiant attempts to share (read violently stuff it into my mouth) 🤐🍂#DADultLife#RaiseThemWild#AtOneWithNature
One of the things that the iPhone's new 'Screen Time' feature has shown me is that as a society we are overly involved and reliant on technology, which as a result, has really made us lose touch with what's healthy and important in life.
As an aside, my top three most used apps, as identified by Screen Time, are YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp (RIP Facebook). It has been scientifically proven (by Lucy McRobert, Campaigns Manager from the Wildlife Trust) that there is a significant increase in people's health, wealth and happiness when they actively connect with nature.
So one of my new year's resolutions is definitely going to be to try and look at my phone less, sorry social media, and look more at the natural surroundings that we have in cosmopolitan London and start 2019 on healthier, happier and wealthier note iA #Nature#Time#Perspective#KensingtonPalace 🙂🙌🏞🍂☀️
