I love pretty food.
Hence the name of my insta - Eat Pretty.
My addiction to 🥑 toast is so real that it is my FAVORITE breakfast and I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life and be happy as a clam. 🤗
If you want to start your morning with a work of art, head over to @8armatl .

This is right next to @poncecitymarket & is right off the @atlantabeltline (( P.S. their music selection is the best I’ve ever heard )) (( P.S.S. If you know of anymore places to get avocado 🥑 toast... let me know in the comments below. I want to try them all. 🤤 ))
✨ T E D S M O N T A N A G R I L L ✨ This place is known for their bison—so get the bison. You'll see why.
So many burgers to choose from and a milkshake makes a perfect pairing. • The restaurant won me over from the moment our waitress put down the pickles on the table instead of the usual bread basket. Sold.
This one has multiple locations so chances are there’s one near you 😜
Salmon Croquettes over Cheese Grits | I was so excited to try this place. Black owned, live music, food looked great in pictures, plus it seemed trendy and cute. I traveled about 45 minutes across town. Cute little place, music ended by the time I got a table. I was super disappointed but hey, I was a minute too late I guess. When you arrive you have to order your food and they arrange a table for you to sit. The drinks are all stationed where the line for food is and around the register so that was a bit frustrating to the point I kind of stuck with one glass of water throughout my breakfast. The kitchen was open and you could watch your food being made, but I decided to chill outside. It took a good while for my food to come - and not only mine. There were several other tables inquiring about their meals. I didn’t care though, I was excited to be here! When my food arrived it looked ok. My grits were runny and I was highly disappointed. I was hoping for some thick and creamy stone ground grits, but these weren’t. Also, my salmon croquette was extremely fishy. Almost canned fish-esque, I barely ate. I had to add a ton of salt for flavor. The idea of this place vs the food and atmosphere - was disappointing. I was just hoping for more. 💋 #rougiefoodie
My hat and I are ready for the weekend! Nope, no chillin’ planned - you’ll find us @piedmontgreenmarket on Saturday, and @ Atlanta Botanical Garden on Sunday! Sunday demos are at noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm. Sorry Alpharetta and Avondale folks, we will see you next weekend! You can always order your bread online if you need it sooner 😉. Have a great rest of the week! ********PC: @kersti_gorstov_photography
Restaurants with a really interactive or unique ordering process have always sent my social anxiety through the roof, so a place like @pokebar seemed like a good way to push myself. This was my third time there so I knew what to expect, but I remember my very first time when I had to be walked through the whole process. It felt felt horribly embarrassing. The guy taking my order was super nice, but the way he had to break down every step and explain it to me made me think, “Man, I must be really dumb.” In hindsight it’s obvious that the employees probably explained the process all day to lots of other customers, but that’s how social anxiety warps your perception of the world around you. You feel like everyone else is normal and you’re just the weird one, as if you missed a memo that everyone else got. But the second and third time I came here it got easier each time. Experiencing a situation firsthand and knowing what to expect are some of the best tools for lowering anxiety. Anticipating everything that could go wrong in a situation is often much more stressful than actually being in that situation. And even if it’s not at first, it does get better with repeated attempts. Taking that first step is hard but it doesn’t have to go perfectly, and it’s always a learning experience so that it’s better next time. And when you get poke like this at the end it’s worth it. 👍

for the first time perhaps ever in my life, the eggplant dish was one of my favorites. maybe i am growing to like the weird mushy texture of it or maybe it was simply because it was mild enough for me to eat real bites. as for the rest of masterpiece, v. spicy but def worth the drive if you’re craving the spice and making a thing of it. 🔥
sweet sweet memories of one the best pizzas I’ve ever had from @pizzahut. I always ask for double pepperoni. Every single time. However🙄that hardy happens. Sometimes there is extra pepperoni & sometimes there’s just regular pepperoni, which makes me want to go crazy. But this one was perfection. They must have executed a cheese + pepperoni + cheese + pepperoni strategy because it was unbelievably fantastic. I was so happy. Nothing like perfect pizza🍕
I’ve been so excited about Flower Child opening in Atlanta! We went there tonight for dinner and all 4 of us really enjoyed it. We had hummus with veggies to start and my boys had the kid’s chicken dinner with brown rice and fruit. I had the Mother Earth Bowl = ancient grains + sweet potato + portobello mushroom + avocado + cucumber + broccoli pesto + charred onion + leafy greens + red pepper miso vinaigrette + hemp seed + salmon. It was delicious and I would get it again. Perfect lunch spot too!
Ok so real talk these are the most flavorful, fresh, authentic, amazing mind blowing tacos I’ve ever had. I got an insider tip that this was the best kept secret in Atlanta & it did not disappoint. Wow. I’m never getting tacos anywhere else. 📍 El Progresso (next to the Georgia Penitentiary... take boulevard all the way down till it ends... It’s in the back of a mini mart.) I got the chorizo, lingua, & cabeza tacos. 🌮 I also got some rice and beans that were KILLER. I feel like I went to Mexico today. Total hidden gem.
