There is seriously something about Pho that is good for the soul, especially on a rainy day.
This week has been really hard on me: I couldn’t really market my new job on Facebook due to a petty block, I had some super late night classes, trying to balance mom/wife/housekeeper/work at home, rain and mugginess, stress over the fact that our apartment is being repainted when Justin is out of town and I forgot to not open any classes so I’ll also be teaching for two hours each morning....
Needless to say, Pho was very welcome. And what I was so happy about was the fact that Rhys wanted to try some. So we got an extra bowl and I poured some of mine into it. He loved it, brisket, broth, noodles, sprouts and all (thankfully I only put Hoisen sauce in mine). I am so proud of my boy for being brave and willing to try new foods and it excites me so much when he likes food I love. Next timed we will get him his own small bowl (and I won’t have to share again 😉).
Happy Friday everyone! Celebrate the weekend with our house special Fifty One #Noodles !
Made with fresh noodles mixed with minced pork 🐷 , a savory sesame & peanut 🥜 sauce, and topped with crushed peanuts - #vegetarian option available! 🌱
Asian food is very easy to like because it hits your mouth very differently than European food does. In European food, there may be two things to hit - maybe sweet and salty, maybe salty-savory, but Asian kind of works around, plus you have that distinct flavor that's usually working in Asian food. #delicious 😋 #foodblogger#asiancuisine#exploreflavours
