Physically, yes there’s change but that’s only a corollary effect of the practice. 5 years of Ashtanga practice has improved my sense of connection, discipline, awareness, gratitude and so much more. It heals. It awakens. It brings peace.

If you had asked me 10 years ago if putting my leg behind my head and breathing would help me with my anxiety, I would have looked at you crazy. But somehow it did (and does). Ashtanga Yoga is magic.
