I will join Spartan race at 15th december.
Because,I do practice Ashtanga yoga and I can get strength body and mind a little.
Ashtanga yoga have meditation but also functional training.

Welcome to day 1️⃣ of #YogisFavorites ! Tomorrow’s asana is your favorite seat pose. I chose #padmasana , seated #lotus . For the longest time this pose was unattainable and hurt my knees to get into. But once I allowed the flexibility and rotation to come my hips, it changed everything. I am so grateful each time I come to this asana. It is such an accomplishment in my practice.🧘🏼♀️💜

It’s finally here — my Ashtanga Yoga Second Series course!
So many of you have asked me when my all-new Second Series Course will be out on @omstarsofficial Well, I am so happy to say it’s nearly time. I’m pairing the release of this course with a yoga challenge so we can work through the tutorials and the practice together.
For me Ashtanga Yoga is more than just the poses, it is the spiritual practice that has changed my life. I’ve gotten on my mat six days a week for the last twenty years and it has made me who I am today. While I am far from perfect, I am a more peaceful, more kind and more loving person because of the Ashtanga Yoga practice. I hope you’ll join me and dive into this traditional method.
Ashtanga Yoga Second Series, also known as the Intermediate Series or Nadi Shodana, can be an intimidating practice. During this 15-day challenge, you explore the poses in the Intermediate series and practice with me on Omstars.com And as you work tutorials about technique, alignment, anatomy and full length practices counted in the traditional Sanskrit, you might just find these asanas to be joyful and fun. I sometimes feel like I have 500 things going on. And then I remember... I kind of do. actively pursue three different jobs and feel very passionately about all of them. I'm preparing for a massive potential life shift. We started a podcast. Retreats and trainings are happening. I work to maintain friendships/relationship. I keep up with practice. Amongst all of this, I work to find quiet time to read, draw, and reflect.
Sometimes I stop and wish that some divine force would tell me exactly where I'm supposed to go and confirm that I am going in the right direction. 💫
And then I simply walk into a studio to teach.
And I'm reminded that at the very least, this is correct.
As time passes, the less I feel the need to fill my life with material objects of any kind. I started feeling the desire to make my own food and spend my money in educating myself both physically and mentally. I experienced the urge to remodel my external environment to meet the needs of my internal one.
Once the talking stopped, the listening began, everything started gathering from every corner falling into its own place like the voices in a choir.
But I have seen it myself and I can assure you that it's not as accepted as it seems especially in a world made of such superficiality and appearance, such meaningless and continuous speeches. Too many "I here... I there..." and know-it-alls. Where we all are thinking of being happy and free, that we can't stop doing and making and producing and consuming and talking, talking, talking... because if we stop, what would be left? How would we spend the time? Well, we would be forced to face our internal environment and it's definitely not what we are taught to do since early age, is it?
We are all so well (over) dressed, so much make-up (both men and women!), so well shaved and well positioned on the path that should supposedly take us "there", whatever means, aren't we?
I can't stop thinking about what this is all about if not getting us away from who we really are as physical bodies and spiritual beings and, I don't know about you, but I had indeed felt disconnected, extremely unhappy, in so much agony and so much often that eventually it shaped who I was and it didn't matter anymore.
At the moment I feel blessed and grateful I had the chance to see what's behind the thick curtains, start my way towards peace and forgiveness, first of all make peace with myself and forgive myself.
It made a huge difference!
I really appreciate you and that you have taken the time to read this long post of mine and I hope to instill a bit of curiosity that initiates you on your own path, which has most likely already started if you have read all this above without stopping after the first paragraph, bawling your eyes out and scrolled down to the next pic 🙏
Yin and Yang, passive and active, cool and warm, inner and outer, inelastic and elastic, lower body and upper body, calming and energizing, fascia and muscle. That's the delicate balance to create and harness just the right amount of energy to live, heal, rejuvenate.
Holy mackerel, I think I've found it!! After 30 days of #Mysore on Maui in August with #davidswenson and #shellyswenson I've never felt better. Not even in my 30s and 40s have I had this much good energy and no pain or stiffness as I approach mid-fifties, even after races! #Halleluja , is all I can say. I've continued with my own practice and in classes when I can go, for the last six weeks. I am motivated to keep this sacred level of energy and freedom I feel right now. Six days a week of 1.25 hr Ashtanga Primary Series Yang hot practice, give or take when life gets hectic. Plus two days of cooling 1.5 hr Yin Yoga. I thought I was feeling pretty good. I didn't know I could feel even better with a new level of #consistency and frequency. Things can change any time but I'm #thankful for right now. And my #plantarfasciitis has finally gone away tho I've given up running for the time being. #ashtangayoga is, to me, is as #cardiovascular and #muscular as running and gets the energy #flowing in the #wholebody and #mind .
Mysore now on the schedule 5 days a week @modern_yoga_scottsdale . My step-dad’s teacher @ashtangayogabali (who will be at Modern Yoga this December) said Mysore class is the best learning environment. It’s so true. Why? Well, it’s quiet so we can talk about alignment or technique. The teacher can give individual attention to each student with what they need most.
