You will never influence the world by trying to be like it!😉
Be different, be weird, be yourself!!!❤️
Today in the sweet #ashtangafavorites challenge we had to choose our favorite #backbend , so i have chosen #gandabherundasana because although it’s so difficult for me, when it’s done correctly is just so beautiful!!!i see all those amazing flexible yogis and I really admire them!
My beautiful friend @lottasebzdayoga is showing an amazing kapotasana(which is also one of my favorites)❤️and i am waiting to see @yogawithmii favorite backbend!

하루에 한번 수련이면 충분하다는 말씀을 너무 잘 지키고 있습니다.;;;

I may not be the most popular teacher and I may even rub some people the wrong way at times, but I can see that my methods are effective and that’s what I find ensures me that I’m on the right path myself
Yesterday I tried these for the first time since my broken rib in June and it actually felt pretty good. Now I am excited to try again tomorrow. ☀️ In life (on or off the mat) we have good days and bad days. When I was a young Marine, my Gunnery Sergeant always said, “don’t quit your job on a bad day”. In other words, don’t give up on yourself when you are feeling down. Keep trying and then after a few good days look back on it with a clearer mind. If you approach more things this way you will notice that the “bad” days will start to disappear because with a positive outlook we start seeing the good things in our lives and stop feeling sorry for ourselves. #yourmindchangeseverything#ashtanga#ashtangayoga#behappy#smile#keeptrying
Our teacher said “I love my students”. And what a beautiful thing to say!!! I know it’s #truth . @sharathjoisr thank you for always putting your students first and being the best teacher we can ask for! Take this opportunity to practice with Sharathji on his first and only trip to Portugal 🇵🇹. Every Portuguese Teacher who practices Ashtanga and shares this lineage should be encouraging from this point onwards all their students to come! I am very grateful to @loveashtangayoga @padmayogashala @casavinyasa_ashtangayoga for helping to spread the word. Yes we all have our own retreats and things to post but this should be the ultimate as it’s the head of the Ashtanga Tradition, a rare opportunity at our doorstep to learn from the #source . True yoga is just being simple and following his teachings and to lead by example to our students. Now it’s time for the Portuguese Sangha to step up. Get on you mat and to stop hiding! Spread the love and spread the word!!! I mean ... he’s coming to Portugal!!!!! 🇵🇹 what a blessing!!!!
It was a bloody practice today. The last one on yoga retreat in Nieprzesnia1. Dropbacks didn’t work for me at all. I tried, i did my best. But my muscles said no. And. That was ok. I didn’t fight. I wasn’t angry at myself. I didn’t blame whole world for no dropbacking. Like I used to do. No. I did finising sequence. With the feeling of gratitude. For my body. For another practice. Another mysore with @yogarepublicpl . For the possibility. For being here. For amazing yoga retreat. For people around. For yoga in my life. And for my funny falling-like dropbacks 😄 Acceptance was something I’ve missed. Missed so much. And it showed up on my mat today. And filled me up. Nice 💚 P.S. Dropbacks- see you next time! 😄 #ashtangayoga#ashtangalove#ashtangazwyrole#yogarepublicpl#dailychoices#ashtangavinyasa#yoga#practiseandalliscoming#practiceeveryday#yogagirl#joga

Bakasana widely recognized as Crow Pose or Crane Pose is an arm balancing posture and is meant for intermediate yoga practitioners. It challenges your core and helps to develop a sense of balance and coordination. The arms bear the weight of the whole body in Bakasana thus strengthening them. Mastering this pose opens the door for advanced arm balancing yoga postures. The key to the perfection in Bakasana is to balance the center of your gravity on the arms.
