I’ve given Roy the Ejector Seat treatment today & taken over the feed… the name’s Bond, Ja…. well actually its @nickpaintsart.
I seem to get lots of client commissions for #Jamesbond and #starwars portraits. They’re a pleasure to paint though as I love both movie franchises. Star Wars 1977 styley was the first film I saw at the cinema. And as for 007, Sean Connery will always be the daddy. This acrylic painting of Bond and his #astonmartin now lives in Houston, Texas and if you swipe through you’ll see a fun commission for a client who loves Star Wars & Spitfires… that was a great mashup! I’ve also included a few other ones you might like to see.
Please follow me over at @nickpaintsart if you like my work… or even if you don’t as I could really do with more Followers! 🤣👍 Thanks… be back here in a bit
'...So I Became Nothing At All', textured acrylic on canvas board, 12" x 14". I gently dry-brushed copper paint around and edging the textured 'dissolving' areas, giving it a 3D, glowing-from-within effect. Unframed and available on my Big Cartel store.
Here's what's #ontheeasel 💛 this one is interesting, my reference has a black background and a lot of shadows so I figured a black base would be a good way to start! It gives the colors this sort of glow... it's hard to describe but a fun change from my typical white canvas. I sketched the outlines with a cream Prismacolor pencil and I'm surprised it actually showed up! Well, that's all for now! 🌙🎨🌊🖤
