“The best artist has that thought alone which is contained within the marble shell; The sculptor's hand can only break the spell to free the figures slumbering in the stone.”

Finishing up my first piece for the corporate art design project, and loving that they're letting me use a couple of their empty offices to create their custom pieces. Can I just make this my new studio? Love having more space! 🤓🙌 #corporateart#customart#behindtheart#studioart

Watercolor is chemistry mixed with personality. Each hue responds differently to the water, to the paper or to the brush and working in watercolors is a practice in learning these responses. Some colors bloom in rings, others stay flat, some echo the texture of the paper and some bend the paper to its will. Every time I put color on to paper, I learn something new about it that I never knew before.
