Whoopee! Another step towards self-love, following our dreams and fulfilling ourselves!
In my career in visual effects for film I have my share experiences of burnouts. I was living in a state of not quite living to my idealistic expectations, I resented towards things that took me away from work and was unwilling to abandon the unhealthy behaviour. I continued this regular occurrences of burnouts because after some time when work saps the passion out of you, it leaves you too tired to be able to decide what is best for your mind and body.
I’m just saying, always remember to practice care and love for yourself by taking a step back, reassess, find what is best for you and work your hardest towards it!
Don’t lose sight of yourself! 👀
Career is just ONE part of living a good life 💝 #selfcare#fufillment#mentalhealth#loveyourself#loveisallyouneed#artforlife
I feel like my whole life I’ve been on a low key mission to find a person who shares my same passion, intense drive and endless creativity. A person to collaborate with and make greatness from nothing. To take small ideas and inspirations and turn them into greatness. Someone who thinks like me and says fuck it lets just fucking go for it!!! I spent a lot of time alone in life because no one I found was on my level of motivation and I could not relate to the norm of day to day life. Sure there are tons of great artists out there but not everyone wants it. I needed someone who wants IT! Not ever settling for less. Always pushing forward. Once a mission is complete we strive higher on to the next. Endless opportunities.
You can waste away in life taking the easy road staying in your comfort zone doing day to day whatever... or you can take life by the mother fucking horns and ride that bitch until you drop dead in all of your hard earned glory.
Thankful to have so far found ONE human in this lifetime who matched my intensity. There have been many humans I’ve met and considered as an artistic companion but nobody has matched up to this one. There he is! @marcdjordan 🤘 Believe me we want it. We are doing the damn thing. ✖️
Side note: Can’t wait to do this again!!!!!

The Normal School had their first guest artist reading last night, and once again, you should absolutely be sad if you missed it. Elena Passarello and Dinty W. Moore have wildly different storytelling styles, but each told their respective stories to a thoroughly rapt audience. Honestly, I’m enamored by those that have the ability to do what they do - convey emotion throughout their readings and keep their audience enthralled. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
