Y'all, this will be my view all day Saturday, October 20th at @nearsouthside's Arts Goggle! I'm excited to announce that I'll be set up between South Lake and 5th Avenue on Magnolia facing north, (i.e. looking at @growplantshop), and just a moment's walk from @stircrazybakedgoods, @fwlocals, @ephemera_terrariums, @melticecreams, and @craftworkcoffeeco. Who else is ready for the break in the rain this Saturday and a fantastic fall day?! 🙋🏽🍂⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
(And, does anyone else think about the fall fair montage in You've Got Mail this time of year? No, just me?) #artsgoggle#artsgoggle2018
Meet our featured artist for FAFO 2018 Arts Festival @brennanpost1 Learn all about him here:
Michael Brennan, born and raised in Tampa, Florida, began creating his own works of art at an early age. His passion for modern art led him to explore the use of collage underlying various painted subjects including animals, Native American Indians, aviation, architectural illustration, and advertising composition, among others. In 2010, he had his first exposure to the world of fox hunting and equestrian eventing. Through those experiences he developed a deep love and affection for horses which became the centerpiece of his body of work.
Michael's process begins with plywood panel construction, collage of random vintage text and technical drawings for aesthetic value, layered with a painted image using acrylic, charcoal, and oil. He then finishes his pieces with a coat of epoxy. His large scale pieces measure up to eight feet by six feet.
He has the honor of being selected as the featured artist in 2018 for the Ocala Arts Festival, Big Four Bridge Arts Festival and the Asheville Fine Art Show. He also has many commissioned pieces to his credit and exclusive interior design in several restaurants including The Chop House in Thomasville, Georgia. His work is frequently showcased in art openings and newly constructed estates.
Michael currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida.

Pervilion, a transient space for performance and pleasure, occupied a newly constructed timber-frame barn on the threshold of Oasis Farm, Waterloo. For Art Night, a major performative sound work by Sasha Pirogova and a site-specific installation by Clementine Keith-Roach occupied the space. -

As a visual artist, Michiel Hilbrink often works together with the graphic designer Dongyoung Lee. They share a common interest linked to specific personal understandings, which are gathered under the name ‘sharing instangibilities’. This self invented term has the meaning of sharing which doesn’t concern concrete objects but subjects such as history, future, culture, habits, rhythm, coincidences, experiences and urges. Their sculptures and installations evolve from an interest in basic sculptural traditions, which they combine with fragility, temporarity and graphic flatness. #oarzo18#artfestival#michielhilbrink#openartroutezuidoost#amsterdamzuidoost
