Focusing on the positive sides of my achievements ^^ I've been having lots of little projects ... simply for myself :) Working on my little passions. My dreams... When I was 6 I was able to do all splits with a light simplicity. Since last Winter I started to train side splits again, and this summer I finally gained it back - fully! 21 years later ^^ Yeij! c(: ..... I must admit that it is quite depressing sometimes...
I train and train...and train again... as you saw on my handstand project. One can see the work going on in the body, I'm feeling muscles for the first time in my life...sore...but I feel them.
Nevertheless I still can't hold it. Wanting to shout out loud f♡#&! Simply full of impatience...
But...well...that's not the sense of yoga right ^^'
.... My brain never had the input of the intramuscular work of holding a handstand. The movements are up to 80% new for my brain ^^' most of the synapses have to build and the ones already there, have to be renewed... a healthy balance has to be kept. Since joints, tendons, cartilages and ligaments need up to 3 times longer to adapt to new motions than muscles, which grow much faster to assimilate to new given pressure.
I started 3 months ago... and I work...alot...it's not always possible for me to train correctly... 》Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet《 Aristotle
well at least my body is getting a blast on yoga perkyness ^^ (learning a little balanced self love, patience and my inner self too...but pssst🙈) so let's keep on... with what ever goal or project you set for yourself, even though it might drive you insane...looking forward to the 'sweet fruit'.
Let's take - patiently - what we get for now! This summer en notre menue: awesome splits, a burstig basil and sweet zebra tomatoes XD
