I managed to pack a lot into my 3 days on Arran. Here is my 3 Day itinerary: I hope it gives you some inspiration to go on your own little trip. ✌🏻🏴
Day 1: Early ferry from Andreessen over to Brodick, eat breakfast on ferry.
Drive to Brodick Castle (Free Parking) and start the hike up Goatfell (weather permitting) after your climb head to the Arran Brewery for a well earned pint and some food.
Then back to your car and head North to Sannox Beach and Glen Sannox. After exploring Sannox head further north to Lochranza to see the Red deer and Seals. Pitch up camp at Lochranza Canpsite. .
Day 2: From the Campsite walk part of the Arran coastal walk and enjoy wildlife spotting. After your walk head to the Arran Distillery.
Then head south down to Whiting Bay and enjoy a woodland hike up to Glenashdale Falls. I then drove all the way round the south of the Island to find a nice place to pitch up. .
Day 3: Blackwaterfoot to see the seals. Then take the scenic drive along String Road. Stopping at Glen Rosa for a hike and maybe a swim. Then back to Brodick ready for your return ferry. Don’t forget to check out the Arran Cheese factory and Arran Aromatics before you leave. .

Trust us when we say this burger was 🤤 Made using a “New York” burger patty & bacon from MacKenzies butchers in Greenock, smothered in Arran cheddar and popped it in an @aldiuk brioche bun. Inspired by @theseededbun
Another beautiful meal tonight with fantastic service at The Western Club (@thewesternclubrestaurant) - amuse bouche of herby, garlicky marinaded olives and little baby tartlets with pate | bubbly | black pudding with breaded hens egg and Parma ham | gratin of goats cheese with beetroot | a delicate curried seafood stew with coriander rice | orange cake with cloutie dumpling ice cream | Scotch | smoked Arran cheddar with oatcakes, fruit and chutney = Best meal in ages.
The Isle of Arran , such a beautiful place. Scenery was stunning with snow covering Goatfell. Was really quiet and we practically had the place to ourselves as it was Boxing Day but it was magical. Loads to see and do, from visits to the distillery and cheese shop as well as the Arran aromatics shop. Visits to Lochranza castle and the local craft shops are always a must @arranwhisky
