Day One of Archery Desensitizing with Xerox! 🐴🏹💛
Meet Winsor’s “brother”, Xerox! He’s a 3 year old friesian stallion, and our latest “war horse” project. He was such a good boy for his very first day!

(Xerox is owned by @wmtart of #thefriesianexperience . Thank you for the 🎥, @lysaroman!! ✨).
The wily, old warthog - one of my favourite animals to pursue.
Whilst out trying to walk-and-stalk a problem Blue Wildebeest bull, I was glassing an opening when I spotted this beautiful pig feeding away from me. I could easily spot the ivory this hog possessed and decided to assemble a plan to stalk her. Feeling the full effects of wearing a ghillie suit, I was able to crawl up to 15m from her with the wind staying ever favourable. As I kneeled to draw, she spotted me and swung around but I was able to slide my Rage 2-blade behind her front shoulder and she came to rest within 30m.
The excitement of hunting with bow and arrow and managing to execute a planned stalk just adds to the sweet success of taking such a beautiful trophy.
Meet the committee post!
Hi, I'm Jack and I’m Zhengao and we're the equipment officers for this year. I (Jack) have been active in CUB for a number of years and am now making sure our gear is in top shape. I'm focussing on my own shooting a bit more, hoping to hit some big goals over the coming year. I (Zhengao) started as a novice last year. And between us we run development sessions for members to help them excel in every aspect of archery 🏹
There’s not a day that goes by I don’t think about this stalk, an early September ; hot weather and heat of the day..haven’t glassed a buck in over 6 hours and a mile away the biggest buck I’ve ever glassed in the badlands stands up too shake the dust off, over a 3 1/2 hour stalk and a perfectly executed path to end up 30 yards above him and him having no idea I’m there..I drew back and let one fly only to graze the hair off his brisket.. maybe next time I’ll use my rangefinder when I have that much time.. #luckybuck#badlands#archery
Maybe I'm too picky, but I pride myself in my arrow building. I like everything to match up. I try to keep the nocks lined up with the same markings on the arrows. Maybe it will make a difference maybe it just looks more uniform either way I take that extra time to make them match. Now comes new bags of black vanes, same brand , same color but there is almost 1/16 of an inch difference in length . Found this out when vanes wouldn't line up on the arrows with the Cock vane like the last bag. Going to drive me crazy!! I've got close to a thousand vanes of various colors that don't match up in length with the 200 black vanes now! #archery#arrows#eastonarrows#eastonvanes#nasp#buildyourownarrows#fletchingarrows#arrowvanes @eastonarchery

FieldPost.com Foreign scents over 300 yards away don’t usually alert or alarm deer. At that distance, the scent molecules are so diluted that they no longer trigger the chemo-receptors of the deer’s olfactory systems. #whitetails#scentcontrol
FieldPost.com The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries maintains 41 management areas across the state. These management areas total over 203,000 acres, many of which are open for hunting.
