Today I want to tell you the recipe of of one traditional Russian salad - 🇺🇸 Herring under a Fur Coat! 🇷🇺Селёдка под шубой.

Of course it is not made of fur coat. The name comes from the fact that the herring is covered with multiple layers in this salad. It is simple and delicious dish, and many people consider it as winter or New Year salad. But if you like it you can make it any time, of course 😉
Here is the recipe😋
You will need:
1. 🐟 350 g of the herring fillets
2. 🥔 3 potatoes
3. Onion- 1
4. 🥕 3 carrots
5. 🥚3 eggs
6. Large beets- 2
How to cook:
🔪 Potatoes, carrots and beets to boil (unpeeled), to cool and then to peel. This is traditional way. In my family we like to put it in the oven for a while, then cool and peel (in this way will be tasty and the vegetables will not lose vitamins)☝️
🥚To boil and cool the eggs. To peel off the shell.
🐟 Herring fillets to cut in cubes and to put on the bottom of the dish.
😊Chop the onion into small pieces and put on the top of the herring. Apply a layer of mayonnaise on top.
🥔Small cubes of potatoes to put on the previous layer and apply the layer of mayonnaise.
🥕To grate the carrots on the big grater and put on the layer of potatoes and apply the layer of mayonnaise.
🥚 Make the same with eggs.
😋The last layer is grated beet. And again cover it with mayonnaise.
Decorate the salad with fresh herbs like parsley for example. Don't put too much mayonnaise, otherwise will be too greasy. Put a salad in the fridge for a while. Enjoy!😘
1⃣De 3 Macronutriënten (vet, koolhydraat en proteïne) hebben ieder zijn eigen werking op het lichaam.

Als je traint, zorg dan dat je proteïne inname hoog is om een katabole staat te voorkomen. Zoals tijdens het verliezen van gewicht. .
3⃣Het consumeren van eten kan je stofwisseling voor een korte duur versnellen.
Dat komt, doordat het lichaam energie (calorieën) gebruikt om de nutriënten in het eten goed om te kunnen nemen en te verteren. Alhoewel, niet elke voedingsstof heeft hetzelfde effect. Proteïne heeft een hoger effect op het lichaam dan vetten of koolhydraten. Met een verhoogde proteïne inname per dag kan je lichaam volgens onderzoek wel 80 tot 100 meer calorieën verbranden.
‼️Hopelijk heb je nu meer duidelijkheid over proteine. Aankomende woensdag hebben wij proteine rijke maaltijden voor de hele dag, dus houd de pagina goed in de gaten! .

Кстати, на фото мой обед-ужин в субботу. Тут паста, мидии, тар-тар из запеченного лосося, вафельная закуска, водоросли и кукурузный крем-суп. Фишка в том, что все эти блюда очень маленькие, порции 50-100г, чтобы вы могли попробовать множество блюд и не переесть. Мы с подругой взяли этот сет на двоих и выпили по бокальчику вина💁🏼♀️

I’ve been fortunate enough to train at many gyms around the world. The most inspirational gym I’ve ever stepped foot in was Golds in South Beach Miami.
Back in 2009 I got the opportunity to live on South Beach for a year and was very excited to find and train at the best gym.
It came at a time when I was really wanting to ‘step-it-up’ in terms of my training. I actually WANTED to feel inferior as I knew my competitive nature would bring about a higher quality of training and lifestyle choices.
Whilst, South Beach had its fair share of ‘distractions’… both during the day and the night dam you… the energy and visual motivation (think ridiculously good physiques everywhere) kept me in a motivated state more than what I’ve experienced elsewhere.
I witnessed a lady clearly in her third trimester performing strict weighted pull ups, a guy eating whilst on the stepper (wouldn’t recommend but just showed the level of motivation) and distinctly recall one morning being the DUD (the guy that wins the worst-physique-currently-in-gym contest).
Thank you Golds South Beach. You brought a balance to my lifestyle that year & showed me that negative feelings about oneself can be harnessed productively.

I washed down the bruschetta with an espresso in Savino’s. If friends had not suggested this place to me, I might have casually, but fatally overlooked it. It sits quietly and unassumingly between louder, more mainstream, but decidedly less cosy places on the busy Emmanuel Street.
Very nearly its owner Peter Savino had opened a pizzeria instead of this coffee shop and bistro. The lack of decent pizza in 1990s Cambridge would drive anyone, but especially someone missing his family’s cuisine, so far. Luckily, he has seen Cambridge’s appetite for Italian food grow, paralleled by various places selling and cooking it, ever since.
Proudly, typical of any Italian speaking about their cuisine, the website names Savino’s as the best place for coffee in Cambridge. Given the care Peter puts in selecting quality ingredients – his coffee is made with Illy coffee beans and purified water – I’m very tempted to give him the benefit of the doubt. K's review: 2/5. These badboys set off our smoke alarm, so that was disappointing. This happened not due to my lack of cooking prowess, but because when I grilled them as per the package instructions, all the fat leaked out and burnt. Aside from being annoying and ruining my (admittedly past its best) baking sheet, they took about 10 minutes longer to than advised to cook before they lost their flabby, anaemic appearance. I assume both of these factors contributed to they fact that when we ate them, they were extremely dry - even with all the gravy I loaded onto them. Not what you expect from a fat little Taste the Difference sausage - especially at 300 calories for 2. To be honest aside from the dryness they tasted fine, decent seasoning, hence the 2/5, but other than that I was disappointed from start to finish.
C's review: 2/5. So these are meant to be Taste the Difference sausages? Fair game Sainsbury's but I simply cannot, TASTE THE DIFFERENCE. There is nothing going on in terms of flavour or consistency inside. If you had me blindfolded and presented me these and some Richmond monstrosities I couldn’t taste the difference. I only gave it a two as it held up (albeit just a bit) with the mash and gravy. NO THANK YOU!

My meal tonight. Yes, not insta worthy at all. I know but it just shows that Instagram is pretty fake a lot. Food can taste delicious even when it doesn't look like a master piece.
