Lemon honey tea
This tea is so good for women, before and during a cycle. Helps reduce that belated feeling.
I drink it often because my joints feel better just in general, and I like the spicy flavor. - 12 oz hot water
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- lemons juice (half a lemon)
- one tablespoon honey
It’s #teatuesday and this is my new favorite especially for Fall! Mr. Pasta once upon a time was a Starbucks Barista so while I can’t enjoy anything in there now I love that he’ll make me healthy safe creations at home! Y’all this is #teamagic . With the Cinnamon Vanilla Fusion @oolalife tea, a tiny splash of Agave Nectar and Almond Milk it is SO yummy! I am obsessed with the #oolateas because of their ingredients, mission and taste!
I swear my QL’s (lower back muscles going from lower ribs to pelvis) are the tightest of anyone’s I’ve ever felt 😫😂😐😬 could this be the biggest reason for that rib on the left side coming out of place? PROBABLY 😫😫
Ok friends, best ways to help loosen this!? Currently I see the chiro, foam roll nearly everyday (if not, every other - pretty much entire body), massage, cupping, stretching (granted - I could be implanting more yoga which is my next game plan), PT... anti inflammatory teas... I’m not sure if I can think of anything else 🤔
Ok suggestions please! 🙏🙏🙏💜❣️
Thank you ✨😘
Evening routine. Make my coffee for the am (I only like iced!) make my anti-inflammatory tea. Almost time to hit the farmers market for more honey! Routines help me stay focused and create healthy habits. I adore my husband, but have been using this time while he’s away to get back on track!
Who suffers from pain?! Not so fun fact about me— I’m always in pain. My neck, back (even after my surgery 😔), hips, now even my thumbs. This is the reason why I try and eat healthy whole foods (that don’t cause inflammation!) and why my body needs strong muscles to support some crappy joints/bones. Rather than loading my body with medications- I have introduced a number of things, including this tea into my routine to help minimize inflammation and joint pain! It’s pretty tasty too :) 1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon of tumeric, cinnamon and ground ginger
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Grade A honey if you need some sweetener.
If the pain is really bad, add whiskey 🙃 #Kidding#notKidding
Back from walking the pup in the freezing rain and ready to sit down with a warming cup of golden milk! Check out my story for how I made it, and if you want to try Further Food's fantastic Daily Turmeric Tonic, hit the link in my profile for a discount. :)
Chronic inflammation will produce disease. So eating a diet low in inflammatory foods is key. But sometimes you need a little extra. I make a nice anti-inflammatory drink which helps when I need to bring down the inflammation even more. Tastes yummy too.
4 cups of water
Turmeric root 2-3 inches long, peeled and chopped or two tablespoons of dried turmeric
Ginger root 2-3 inches peeled and chopped

Been fighting a cold all week (sore throat, brutal headaches, low energy) and I'm pretty sure the two beers I had last night didn't help 🙈. It's all about balance though, right? 😉. Anyway, I thought I'd start today off right and try to kick this bug before it really kicks my a$$. .
I started my morning with a double dose of warm lemon water and then followed it with this turmeric & ginger tea latte. Both ginger and turmeric are potent anti-inflammatories and help fight disease in the body. .
To make this tea, simply add the following ingredients to a high speed blender and blend for about a minute.
What you need: 2 cups boiling water, an inch of fresh turmeric root (peeled), 2 inches fresh ginger root (peeled), a half teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a half cup of your favourite nut milk (I used coconut), a tablespoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of raw honey 🍯. I got this recipe from the @joyoushealth blog - it's easy to make, delicious and suuuuper healthy. This is a great tea to drink, not only when you're sick but as an everyday, health boosting treat! .
