Unfortunately, I made a poor choice while out of town. I ate at a restaurant and I can’t trust what’s in food unless I make it myself. So, I’m back to cooking my own food and doing battle with gut inflammation. Hoping to see improvements quickly! These are my daily go-to foods... with some awesome Young Living natural supplements like Agilease with curcumin and black pepper, as well as the delicious Slique Tea that has frankincense resin in it... for the WIN!!

The flavor reminds me of my grandmother’s rice pudding that she would make when I was little. 1 tea spoon of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Blueberries
Stevia as sweetener
Mix the liquid part first in a blender... then mix with the solids...and to the oven for 15 minutes 😊💜💜💜

Here is a great and simple green smoothie for detoxification, cleansing blood, clearing skin, rejuvenation and hydration. 
When I make smoothies, I try to avoid fruit or keep fruit to a minimum. I love fruit 🍉 I eat lot’s of it. 
But after plenty of research and reading upon nutritional experts—many experts believe fruit should be kept to a minimum or avoided altogether, when making smoothies—for optimal health benefits. 
But what makes a green smoothie nutritionally dense and beneficial, is plenty of greens... and lots of them… especially GREEN LEAVES!!! 🌱Ingredients used:

Spinach
Lime
Mint
Avocado
Filtered Water

If you want to try this smoothie but feel you want or need the sweetness then Kiwi, Apple🍏 Or Pear would work well. 
The Lime and Mint are cooling and refreshing! So if you are feeling sluggish, it’s a really good “pick me up” kind of smoothie. 
Mint is really good for the skin because it has strong antibacterial properties. It is also great for boosting circulation in the skin, so prevents the formation of wrinkles.

Always on the lookout of something new to use up a good supply of courgettes and marrows from allotment.

This is an Asian style creamy vegetable coconut soup with some chickpeas . I m not so organised to have homemade stock at hand so I opted to use little water and  a can of coconut milk.

I roasted 4 medium carrots with a yellow pepper and a red onion. Sautéed 1 large white onion ,adding in a small chopped marrow, 2 handfuls of green beans,3 cloves of garlic,a large thumb of ginger,herb salt,chilli flakes ,cumin, coriander powder and turmeric powder. 1 cup of water. Stir on medium for 15 mins add in half can of chick peas and the roasted vegetables. Blend with a stick blender , add remaining chick peas and leave for another 5 mins. Garnish with coriander. 
No need to add much water as the marrow releases quite a lot. Plenty of flavour without a stock and very filling.

I often recommend non-cow cheeses as I think that the different protein structure in them can be much easier to digest for many people and often they are less processed too. And they just sort of ‘go’ with vegetables and olive oil like buffalo mozzarella (my favourite). A lump of good old cheddar just isn’t the same.  This is griddled  haloumi and courgettes from my friends garden on a bed of her rocket too. With a simple olive oil dressing it was a perfect lunch. (Oops I may be falling into ‘Waitrose’ territory here but there we are😳). For supper I would add a tomato and onion salad and a small baked sweet potato. Loads of colourful antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and good protein, fresh and simple. Kale is known as a super food that packs in the protein, vitamins A, C and K as well as minerals, including potassium, calcium, thiamin, riboflavin and iron. It’s  also effective for detox your body because it’s rich of fiber and chlorophyll.

Kale has one of the highest levels of antioxidants of any vegetables  and can help reduce inflammation, lower cholesterol and detox the liver.Chewing on many veggies everyday may be too troublesome for some, so making green smoothie can be an attractive alternative to get the benefits of food easily. Most of green veggies detoxes the liver, flushes out the intestines and cleanses the blood because they include chlorophyll. The high chlorophyll content in kale makes it especially healing to the blood. When the blood is healthy and flowing well, toxins in your body can be eliminated. Charcoal also has a effect to remove toxins and harmful metal from your body but it’s not common here to use charcoal for detox. Please blend well 🍌🍓☘️🍀so that the chlorophyll will absorb all your bad toxins from your body and you can also intake good nutrition at the same time. If you don’t have time in the morning, you can use matcha powder 🍵or young barley leaf power as an alternative. Please find organic and good quality one.
