Someone DM’d me a few months ago & posed the question: who takes the photos for this page. 🤔 I responded with: That would be me, I’m a professional photographer. The response was: oh, I thought you had some guy do it for you... I’m not sure my feminist self has come back from that one, but regardless.. I take 99% of my photos. If I didn’t take it, I tag the photographer. You would be surprised what you can do with a DSLR & a remote 😉. Now clearly I’m holding my camera in this shot.. so major shout out to my #foodiehubby @dishwithchris for snapping this shot at the last popup I curated. I mean look at that ridiculous scrunch face.. only photogs know that face 😂😂

Excuse me while I tag my girls ✊🏻💄

I'm sad we're missing the fall colors this year in the mountains. One thing after another keeps happening, and we simply have no time to sneak away to the mountains. Sadly. I can't wait for the near future -- photographing mountains will be unavoidable and part of my job. #seasons#goshenandoah
”.There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs“

Photographing the Snake River overlook was always a dream ever since I saw the Ansel Adam's famed image. Let alone photographing there, just being there could give you an immense joy of seeing the beautiful Teton valley right in front of you. In fact, the landscape you see from here is like a poem by itself, towering peaks of Tetons and the range that spread at the horizon, the grand valley, with cottonwood and pine trees and Snake river taking a beautiful bend. Adding the colors of autumn and the hues at the sunset were something I was desperately praying for. When I reached here with my friend Narayan, it was a completely overcast evening with no hopes of any colors in the sky. This is proof of how things can change in a matter of minutes. Wind blowing over the mountains lifted the cloud cover and in three different stages, the light appeared in the sky from behind the peaks before going grey again. This is the third and the last time when this game of sunlight and clouds reached the crescendo, and something I had never hoped for was given as a blessing to me. I love mother earth and thank you #anseladams for showing the world and giving the insights that could otherwise be not imagined.

Happy birthday to my guy who keeps it classy by backpacking in collared shirts, gets excited about wearing matching clothes with me, and never quite looks in the camera when taking selfies. Love you. Let's go to Arby's!
Some photographers take reality… and impose the domination of their own thought and spirit. Others come before reality more tenderly and a photograph to them is an instrument of love and revelation.
Sending a big Happy Birthday to my Photographic Brother from another Mother @daniel_zetterstrom ...🦂
Thank you for being a friend and an inspirational revelation to so many, myself included. .
