Out in the garden and I forgot I had these decorative peppers. Loving the color. When we first had them they were purple. They are annuals in our zone 8a and hardy in 9b - 11. I got two of these pepper plants need to find a spot to enjoy them while we can. I did hear you can keep them as indoor plants. If they weren’t annuals in our area I would use them for Christmas containers they remind me of Christmas lights lol. Back to the garden!!! 😆💃🏻💚💚💚💚💚💚
काही शब्द नकळत कानावर पडतात
कोणी दूर असुनही उगाच जवळ,
वाटतात खर तर ही मैञीची नाती,
अशीच असतात आयुष्यात येतात,
आणि आयुष्यच बनून जातात..! 😎
Note: When "Panditji" & "Shisya" were off the roles backstage breaking all kayfabe! 😁

The castor plant (Ricinus communis) is something of an attention seeker in the annual border. It’s exotic features and extravagant foliage makes it stand out from the crowd. In just one season the castor plant will grow 1,5-3 m high and spread its huge, glossy and deeply lobed leaves over it’s fellow plants. The flowers are modest, but towards the end of summer spiky, round seedpods in pink or red develop to accent the green or dark purple leaves. Varieties include the more compact R 'Gibsonii' with, initially green, but with time bronze leaves and red seed pods and R. 'Carmencita' with dark purple leaves and pink seed pods. When the seedpod opens it reveals two perfectly formed beans. Shiny and beautifully marbled they resemble tiny beetles and suddenly it makes sense that ricinus is Latin for louse. The species is native to the Middle East and North Africa and will grow to a 10 to 12 meter high tree in its natural habitat. The plant is mentioned as far back as in the Old Testament (Jonah 4: 8) where God lets a castor tree grow to give Jonah shade. Imagine strolling though a forest of castor trees. The whole plant is poisonous, and ricin, a toxin that inhibits the body's protein synthesis, can be extracted relatively easily from the beans. You might have heard of Georgi Markov, a Bulgarian journalist and dissident, who in 1978 was stabbed with an umbrella tip that was prepared with ricin. Markov died within a few days. Poisoning by ingestion of plant parts is very rare though, and the castor plant is frequently used in annual flowerbeds as well as being grown for the oil. Castor oil is extracted from the bean and used as a laxative, a lubricant in the mechanical industry and when manufacturing cosmetics. It is also said to make hair shiny and stimulate growth and many beauty bloggers praise it as a miracle cure for thick and great looking hair and eyebrows. -

Blooming flower + baby feet 😍
Vincas are such simple little flowers. They were always popping up in the yard at our old house. I just potted them and sometimes I give them a trim. I usually stick the pieces I cut off in the pot and sometimes they take...sometimes they don’t. I love to let the flowers fall and shortly after they die little sprouts pop up. 🤗
