Vendors as far as the eye can see! This is just the tip of the iceberg! Come visit us tomorrow (Sun 11/18) at the Longwood Fall Festival for shopping, carnival rides, entertainment and more! Admission is free! Hope to see you there!
Thank you to those who refuse to wear fur. Your choice makes a difference. We will never stop being a voice for the voiceless. I know most humans are good people, the connection needs to be made. It isn’t fancy, fashionable, warmer. It is pure cruelty. It is useless.
Anyways, this was my first protest. It was tough. Listening to those coyote and raccoon screams made me cry several times, but it’s the LEAST I can do. Watching people laughing at us made me wonder why the fuck do we deserve to live on this beautiful planet. But tons of people were open minded and listened. And this is what matters. These are the people who are gonna make a change.
BIRTHDAY PUPS! 🐶🐶 @andie_panda came to visit the past few days so that our giant pups, @sawyer_the_berner and @tonka.timber could spend their 2nd BIRTHDAY together!! Soon after we got our pups we realized their birthdays were right next to each other, the 14th & 15th!! So last year we spent their 1st Birthday together in Cincinnati and this year in Nashville for their 2nd Birthday! They’re getting a bit too big to hold now 😊 but we’ll sure try!
This is Jesi back when I first got him after him mom was hit by a car and killed. He was born during the accident and luckily survived. He was premature and only weighed 3lbs. He a true miracle baby! Jesi is now 4 months old and doing great. He will be wintered over until February then released back into the wild, I dread the day I have to release him because he has my heart and I am the only mom he has ever known. But at the same time I want him to be free and wild.❤️
Saturday blog post of the day...the “inside” ocean 😊 I dream of a day when I can swim in the open ocean and explore the world in search of beautiful pictures - it’s ALWAYS been my dream (wishful thinking, right?!?)...for right now, this Autism teacher is content taking a few cool shots (there are 7 images in this post) of a giant sea turtle (and a sting ray) who live(s) in an aquarium. I went on a field trip to the Virginia Beach aquarium Thursday and snapped a few photos. I LOVE sea turtles (and turtles in general) - I think they’re magically beautiful. If you look closely enough, you can see the scratches on the glass 😯
