Fun quick little project for Sunday morning! The box will be the home for my Christmas tree. Once it's all dry I'll post another picture. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday.
Thanks for letting me borrow your nail gun @lifeonbannenct it made this project so much easier. Plans modified from @anawhitediy
Finished! Paint came out a little darker/bluer than I was expecting, but I love it. I'm thinking about engraving Rowbury on the the brown shelf-face. Kids are excited to keep it full of stuffed animals/books aka kinda clean room. We'll see how long that lasts. Hazel keeps calling it a "shelter", so we know what she really wants to do in it.
Used Rustoleum milk paint in Kensington grey, and Minwax dark mahogany stain. Secured with kreg jig pocket holes, nail gun and wood glue. Thank you #anawhite , I love her plans! Wood was all free, it was either pallet wood or plywood we picked up using freecycle.org
Sharing my oldest son's #christmas room ❤ This is the first year we decorate his room, and the first year that he gets to decorate his very own tree. Didn't it turn out so cute? He used a lot of the #woodornaments that I made! DIY for the win! We also built a simple box for his tree, which I luv! I hope that when he grows up these will be the memories that he cherishes 💕 #christmastree#christmasdecor#decorforkids#decorforkidsroom
This is one of my favorite builds from @anawhitediy plans. This beauty is huge and is so heavy but it’s just what I wanted for our entertainment center. We modified the plans and left out the drawers because I wanted shelves. I’m definitely proud of this piece! #farmhouse#diyfurniture#anawhiteplans
How cute is this just in time for Christmas? 🎄
Did you know we build custom furniture pieces?

This compact indoor playhouse fits over a twin bed! It's easy to build out of 2x4s. With the holidays around the corner, you could have one happy kid on your hands. 🙌 Just google, ‘Ana White Over Bed Playhouse’ for the free plans. #anawhiteplans
I took y’all with me this past weekend as I set up this mantle on my stories; and i couldnt be happier with how it turned out. If you missed my stories, I save them on my highlights under winter mantle walkthrough.
I made this sign last year and I almost forgot about it. Better late than never! How pretty does it look over our bed? 😍 It makes such a big statement. Now I have to figure out how to secure it in place 😀
This year I decided to go more neutral in the main living areas. I did, however, decorate with my favorite (buffalo plaid) in the kid's rooms, and I luv both! I'm also loving these mini tree boxes. So easy to transform a cheap tree by making it look custom!
Well friends, I think this is my last fall decor post. I’m a little sad to see the pumpkins go, but really excited to start setting up for Christmas. I’m realizing how much I have to do, and only 45 days until Christmas! 😱 I hope you’ll all check out my stories to see the wreath I used last year that I’m making a little more festive. And stay tuned later in the week when I’ll share where I got my Christmas decor, for anyone interested in an affordable and simple Christmas. And now it’s back to work for me. Happy Saturday, friends! 🤗❤️🤗 #hideandseekfarm#farmhousediningroom#pocketdoor#antiquemantel
Just add snow ❄️ and you have the perfect Hallmark channel scene. Spoiler alert 🚨 let me tell you how it ends. She chooses the guy in Christmas 🎄 sweater or the flannel every time! I absolutely loved this build! @anawhitediy
My very first piece(s) of furniture - where my obsession started. My son needed a bed because he was sleeping on a mattress on the floor. I had just been introduced to Pinterest and found these plans from @anawhitediy. I was so excited to attempt to build this. With help from my dad and sister I built it and I was pleased.. and became HOOKED! So when my second son out grew his toddler bed and needed a twin, I made another one! This time by myself. And eventually turned them into bunk beds. 👍🏻 #farmhouse#diyfurniture#anawhiteplans
