昨日ハンドルネーム変えた報告したのに、諸事情により今日また変えることになりました、改めまして川端 楓です😭 長野に行った時の渾身の一枚置いておきます…！😂Though I introduced my new name just yesterday, I have to announce another new name today, Kaede Kawabata. I had to do this because of what I am working on lately 🧐 Well, this is the best shot when I went to Nagano. It was a nice place :)
the metal town lives and grows. like moss on a rainy day moving it’s way through forest soil, iron strings and glass walls are moving through Tokyo. it’s gets more dense over the years but the sun is still shining next to the human-made giants
“We went offline, we disappeared. Alone. Completely together. While on the road, strange sofas and walls suddenly became home, leaving entrenched ideas and emotions, making room for fresh insights. We became closer and closer. We went beyond next level.” From Atomic Punk, see the whole series on my website: www.berbertheunissen.nl 🌙 prints available in the webshop or send me a message.

Inspirations: Incredible work by recent graduate @chiaravagliano I saw this work at the LCC end of year show. Chiara's has great sensitivity in her images and within her use of materials, it's really beautiful work.
In her own words:
The mighty pyramids of stone
Which wedgelike cleave the desert airs,
When nearer seen and better known
Are but gigantic flights of stairs.— Longfellow.
Val Paradiso is an imaginary valley based on different existing geo- graphical places where I grew up. The mountain scenery blends with the hills of the countryside colliding in a space inhabited by childhood memories, magical encounters, teenage adventures, mystical experiences, idealised love and a magical bond between girls that echoes ancient rituals and witchcraft.
The fictional documentary work is a coming of age tale, retold from different points of view.
Personal experiences are narrated and transformed, almost becoming legends whispered softly, from mouth to mouth, from me to my half-sister and her girlfriends.
