I walked into this ancient Amphitheatre that was built in or around the 4th Century and the energy just levitated me... Ok but seriously though, 4th Century! The amount of history that has passed through this place must be incredible. I wish I could find out about the stories of people who walked through the streets of this ancient city of Ephesus. I've got a lot of fantastic photos of this place that I'll be posting. #Ephesus#History#Travel#Explore#Amphitheatre#Turkey#InstaDaily#PhotoOfTheDay 🇹🇷

You can't go to #Rome and not visit the ancient ruins #forumromanum#romanforum and the #colosseum .
I remember having to do a project on ancient rome when I was thirtheen. Back then I couldn't imagine #Gladiators and the atrocities that took place in this venue even though I studied them.
With maturity and standing there..the realisation that bloodshed and slaughter were a common thing was strange.
History is not always romantic, hardly ever, actually but I still love it. There's always going to be a duality and I will always wonder how we as people have such beautiful minds but hardened hearts.
The way of the world🤷🏻♀️
