Why the radio silence eh?! Well It was Adam's birthday last week and so we went and got away for a few days with our nearest and dearest to a rather wet Newquay! Now we're easing ourselves back into the swing of things! Not a bad thing when we're welcomed back to these beauties!
Incas and Aztecs believed that AMARANTH had supernatural powers. We believe it has powers, but natural only. :) Amaranth is a gluten-free pseudo-grain rich in protein, iron, fibre, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. A great thickener for stews or just sprinkled in breakfasts and desserts.
Do you know which flours are gluten-free? You can try to mix some flours together to get a good consistency for Baking! always make sure to add some type of starch like tapioca to make the dough more flexible.
