"I'm the queen of multi-tasking!" I would announce proudly as if I was waiting for someone to hand me a trophy 🏆😂 At least until today when I read what should have been obvious, that not only is multi tasking proven to be less effective, but it is literally doing damage to our brains.
Our brains were not made to focus partially on so many things that we can't fully finish our sentence because we're also glancing at our phones, watching tv, and cleaning a dish. Doing this, is actually causing a lack of clarity, focus, ability to make decisions, and causing attention deficit. 🤷🏻♀️ We live in a "140 character" universe where information comes in and goes out so quickly that do we even stop to appreciate or think deeply about what's going on in our surroundings? I mean, are we even really seeing what's going on in our surroundings or are we missing key moments because we're doing seven things at once? 🤷🏻♀️ I challenge you to do the same thing I'm attempting to do today (it's tough😳), which is give your attention to LITERALLY only one thing at a time. (And ladies- I think this does mean we need to stop blaming our husbands for being terrible multitaskers 😒😬)
Boy oh boy is this little girl a handful sometimes. We had one of the worst mornings yet today. She defied me every step of the way. She threw things at me, on the floor, and in the sink. We argued and there was time out... not once, but twice. It wasn’t pretty. But in the end she apologized and hugged me. All was erased and we restarted our day!
It’s not always rainbows and butterflies but it’s always worth it!! Happy Monday 😆
I'm late as usual, but after this post we can finally move to December, yay.
So, for the last spread of my Polish themed bujo I was going to do something more "me". I made it related to my region - Podhale. I don't know how to say it, but people who live here are some kind of ethnic group. In Poland there are few of them. Our group is called "Górale podhalańscy", cause we live in mountainous area and mountain in Polish is "góra". We have our own dialect, traditional dishes and of course regional outfits. And we love singing regional songs in our dialect. I think these can be interesting information, since Poland is not well-known country. I'll put translation of the words used in the spread in comments section ⬇️
No i tak.. Miało być kilka rzeczy, jest jedna. No cóż. Mam nadzieję, że was zainteresowałam. Jeśli chcecie o coś zapytać, zachęcam do komentowania. W miarę możliwości odpowiem na wszystkio 😁
