ive somehow gained the motivation to go to a few yoga classes within the past couple weeks- something i havent done since last may, when i had the privilege of going to free classes at UNE. my barrier has been the drive to the studio, at a scheduled time, and the $ required for a drop-in class. i have to say, IM LOVING IT (again?)! so many studios, such a variety of classes, and you can still go at a time and day you want... hour+ classes taught by a certified yoga teacher have so many benefits, ive found... they have a huge focus on breath and positive mindset (sometimes pushed aside in my own practice), you discover new poses or poses you may have forgotten, you can try safe modifications and variations to push yourself, and also see the diversity of yogis that share the same love of yoga as yourself. my intention for the past few (and very different) classes is to focus on what my body desires in the moment, rather than pushing myself to do what i know i am capable of. the classes leave me feeling loose, happy, (a good) sore, and eager to go back. what is your barrier to practicing? from trying a class? from trying yoga in general?! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . if you live in the area, take the first step by checking out what @valleyglowyoga & @sanghastudio have to offer for you!🤗

We adore using these bin clips from the Container Store, but weren't so crazy about how the white paper that comes with them looks on the gold, silver and black bin clips. .
So we came up with a styling hack to amp up the good looks of these clips: card stock! One of our team members went to Michaels and found matching card stock for each color clip. Then cut a bunch of them to size so we have them whenever we use the clips! The card stock has a heavier weight than standard paper so it holds up really well and looks great!
What do you think about the difference on the black bin clip?
💥PERSISTENCE💥 ☝️is one word that seems to be at the fore front of my mind a lot lately.
It is easy to bury your head in the sand, sulk and give up when life/work/training etc are not going well or just being frustrating all round. Accepting that it's just a rough patch, that will pass, enables you to keep showing up and doing the work. More often than not, it's these moments than show your true character.
Leaning on persistance, attitude and work rate while being grateful for the smaller things in your life will give you perspective on what matters most👌.
Anyone else agree or disagree.?

On the contrary of Monday (10km), the training yesterday was extremly enjoyable. You can always feel that the end is near but it is still a good aerobic training (chest+biceps session after it). Next time, i have an easy distance target to beat (2500m). In the future, will likely reduce the resting period to two minutes.

Il curl con manubri, insieme al curl con bilanciere, sono gli esercizi più classici ed efficaci per l'allenamento del bicipite. .
Per quanto riguarda l'esecuzione non ci sono molte differenze da quello svolto con il bilanciere, quindi vi rimando al post gia presente nella mia pagina. .
Una delle domande che vengono poste più di frequente riguarda la flessione dell’omero alla fine della fase concentrica del curl. Molti addirittura ritengono che tale movimento sia errato, ovviamente sbagliando. Il bicipite è un muscolo multiarticolare, il che vuol dire che partecipa sia al livello del gomito sia al livello della spalla. Di conseguenza la flessione dell'omero (che in parole povere sarebbe il movimento per il quale si solleva il gomito) permette una maggiore contrazione del bicipite e quindi un superiore reclutamento delle fibre muscolari. Allo stesso tempo questo movimento andrà a coinvolgere la spalla, in particolare il deltoide anteriore, e porterà ad un più rapido affaticamento nel gesto. In conclusione quindi come conviene comportarsi? Io consiglio sempre di lavorare iniziare con il gomito bloccato e sfruttare la flessione dell'omero solo nelle ultime ripetizioni della serie, magari anche accompagnato dall'applicazione del cheating (ovvero dell'oscillazione del braccio nella prima fase del movimento concentrico). In questo modo si avranno i seguenti benefici:

Thinking back and appreciating how far my body has come in terms of muscle endurance. 🙌🏽 Today mid-workout, in a 15 minute time span, each person in our group did 45 pull-ups, 90 push ups, and 135 weighted med ball slams...then went on to finish the rest of our workout. We all have weak points and baby muscles that hasn’t matured yet and haven’t focused on trying to make those little muscle fibres grow. For me shoulders has always been my weakest points, but since I’ve been focusing more on my shoulders training them twice a week, doing power movements and concentrating more on muscle contracting and more of the feeling of shocking the muscle going through pain and failure, you actually feel the muscles grow. It’s all about the mind and muscle connection. By doing that it actually helps improve muscles to grow and It has helped grow and shaped up my shoulders to build more mass and roundness.
Make sure you don’t ignore those weak points and focus on building because there’s always room for improvements. .
I can't believe I am yet to do a photo of the entire face of my current wheel setup. They have all been 1/4 shots including the front of the car. This wheel Wednesday is solely about one of my favourite parts of my car. The @raysmsc @yokohamatire and @apracingltd wheel tyre and brake combination shows what the car is all about. Performing all day, everyday without a hitch!!
