“The world is not my home,
I’m just a passin’ through...” 🎶 ~ TW “I was saved by the water of rivers
And by the laughter of children
Oh yes, I wish I was home...”
“Life is good on the open road
We’re closer now than we’ll ever know
The light inside, well it comes & goes
But it never really goes out...” 🎶
Music. Songs. Ain’t it funny how the meaning changes over time? When you take a new path and hear it from a new perspective, a new perch? And we all love music, right? We all love to sing. We all love to dance. Even if we’re too bashful or scared to do it in front of others. We all have that secret place inside of us that experiences great joy when we hear that certain tune. Or that sweet song or lullaby our mamas used to sing to us. And to see our children hear that & feel that. There’s really nothing like it. And it’s universal. No matter the color of our skin or bottom line in our bank account. It’s something so free and beautiful and all too human. And, of course, all the best songs tell a story. We want our story to be all-inclusive. We want all our stories to intertwine and create a beautiful tapestry.
Like my good friend, Walt Whitman, sang:
“From this hour I ordain myself loos’d from limits and imaginary lines...
“Camerado, I give you my hand!
I give you my love more precious than money,
I give you myself before preaching or law;
Will you give me yourself? Will you come travel with me?
Shall we stick by each other as long as we live?” Yes yes. To sing. To dance. To care. To create a life at which the Creator of us all would warmly smile. To do something worthwhile; yes, and to continue to fan the flames of that spark, even when self-doubt creeps in & we falter.
So come sing & dance with us.
Big love & many thanks to all of you, and I could never ever thank you enough already. Because we know this: THIS IS IT, right here, right now. Love is real. It does not fade away. Always. No matter what. ❤️❤️❤️ #onelove#notfadeaway#whatreallymatters#alwaysalready#werejustapassinthrough#mayHeblessusandkeepus#mayHelookusfullonintheface#nomatterwhat
Working on my soul journey: not only doing external travels😊 Curious what these two big guns shared about that joy which stays even in the face of our & others' suffering. Loving it so far!
Feel I had most ingredients figured out for quite some years already, but maybe one or two still missing. Let's see! ... although I learn at least as much from my friends and normal people around me !!! The keys are everywhere already, for us to see.
Bought the book ca. 2 weeks ago the day I left Munich. Because i had asked myself ca. 1 month ago about the purpose of human Life on this planet, and reached the same conclusion (as the Dalai Lama): to create Joy - for yourself ánd for others. So when I saw this book it felt like the natural next step🐢🙏🤓 PS thanks @almuthkramer for your travelcare today❤ .
At the deepest level possible—which is also the truest ‘level’ of your Self—YOU are already entirely free of any sensation, thought, object and experience of any kind. Just keep meditating single-mindedly on the following: “I am already entirely free and beyond every sensation and experience. I just need to see directly how this is always already the case. In truth, nothing need to be changed. I just need to see how I am already free from every sensation, perception and experience.” — This alone, if practiced with intensity, will take you beyond any and all concepts and reveal the truth that’s already true.
Do you know who you are?
Do you listen to the whispers within yourself that are calling you back home? ❤
Asking you to drop all these false concepts, ideas and beliefs that YOU have created about yourself and this world! ❤
Who and WHAT are You?! What is YOUR uniq ESSENCE?
The true YOU?
And what sparks YOUR light? ❤
Realize yourself to be GOD.
The creator of all that is.
Everything is possible!
It takes courage to ponder and dive in to these questions but if you are looking for freedom from the prison you have created for your self you have to be willing to see your truth. Trust me it's worth it and it is always 1000000 times better then you think! ❤
Come WORK YOUR CORE & build inner strength, with my new course that starts TOMORROW!
I am EXHILARATED to start my NEW 3-week YOGA class, TAPAS! “Tapas” refers to intense self-discipline for purification of mind, body, & senses. The literal translation means “to cook, heat, transform.” The 3-week course builds heat from the INSIDE out (NOT a “hot yoga” class!), through an engaging, upbeat practice that incorporates lots of movement + endurance holds to add a little flair, challenge, & stamina to our asana (yoga posture) practice. This intensity of the practice is what feeds our sense of self-discipline & clears the mind, so it works not just on a physical level, but on mental & energetic levels as well.
Our weekly sequence, built up over our three 90-minute sessions, focuses on upper-body strengthening, moving balances, holds for the quadriceps, & #core work synced with the breath.
Some yoga exp helpful, though not required. $45 for all 3 sessions, with early registration ($20 for drop-ins after course starts). Save your place here for this invigorating, inspiring class! Only THREE places remain! We meet 6 pm at Suwannee River Yoga Studio in White Springs.
We'll do some classic poses that are sure to hit some of your favorites, such as High Lunge, Cat-Cow, Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Utkatasana (Fierce/Chair Pose), Balancing Cat, Planks & lots of variations of side planks, Warrior 3 with Movement, & Navasana (Upward Facing Boat), & Twists. But we will also add some playful transitions, variations, & long holds, to build our vitality & concentration!
Commit to your practice & refining your inner transformation by reserving your place in TAPAS now! See LINK in bio.
Remember, though many of us may find challenge in yoga practice—& lots of fun in that challenge!--yoga is not about self-improvement; you already are & have all that you need. Our discipline on the mat, instead, simply helps us notice more, & shed all the non-essentials we have accumulated (what we think we should be doing or become), so we are more open to where we actually are & aware of what we really are doing, & who we truly are. Come practice & #feel for yourself!
What does that voice in your head say? Did you know that isn’t you? We all have it, should I, shouldn’t I, that’s right, that’s wrong, yes, no, around & around.
⭐️ what would be possible if you didn’t give that voice any weight? What can you be in action around this week to be in integrity with what you really want? 💫
I support hydrocephalus. For all of who may not have known, I was born with too much cerebral spinal fluid on my brain. This disease is called none other than hydrocephalus. This causes many physical health issues for me, including occasional seizures and sight problems. I stand in support of creating awareness for people who suffer from this disease, just as I do. #supporthydrocephalus 💙
In this instance, Jr. used a disease that he suffers with to show that he is #alwaysalready participating in a network of systems. He is using his voice to create awareness for a disease that many people may not know much about. He understands that he is participating in a network of reality and that he has to do his part in order to keep these networks balanced and informed.
You Are Ready For Your Life
procrastination happens when we think that we are not ready to do something. behind procrastination, there is fear of this something being too much or not enough. fear of taking action in the now as if the now could ever disappoint us. when you are fully present in the now, engaged in what you are doing, no disappointment is possible, but rather there is wonder at the intricacies of even the simple acts you perform. because what you are doing is the very thing that is not only the proof of the fact that you were always ready to do it. but, if you actually fail, it is also evidence of the fact that you are getting ready to be ready for next time. in any case, you are always ready if you are ready to act, that is to live life fully and with courage. cherishing the now is about cherishing our potential always already revealing itself in action. so do not fear no more. just be. you are ready.
