Graduation III: To my friends who have been through the many years and/or projects with me~ WE DID IT!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Good luck and let us remember all the times we thought we’d get crushed under the intense pressure but pulled through 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Special thanks to @alvineeeee for coming down!!! 🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️ it’ll be your turn in 2 years! (HAHA. Sucker 😂😂) .
I always thought that graduation is a huge moment in life, I mean we all worked so hard for the past 20 years studying and finally we got the reward of our hard work yesterday!
It felt like everything had changed but at the same time nothing change. Irony isn't it? With just a ceremony, it seems like that is the transition of my life. From student to adulthood, no longer being able to get away with those low key brainless decisions and mistakes that I made on the ground of me being a naive student who hadn't seen the actual world yet. Since young, I have been dreaming of this day, the day whereby I graduate and finally being able to bid all the thick textbook goodbye! Not having to wake up every single day thinking of 'what are the homework due today, what test will there be today & shit will I do well for the test?' Yet, I found myself having this incredulous thought, I kind of start missing the life of being a student already.
Being a student have been part of my identity for the past 20 years of my life & with just a ceremony, this huge part of my life ended. What is awaiting me now is the real adulthood, the real work out there.
At this point in time, being an actual adult seems like the toughest thing to do. But then again, when I was in P6, the toughest thing then was PSLE. In Sec 4, O level seems to be the toughest thing that had happen. Similarly, in MI, A level seems to be the toughest and in NUS, all the finals seems to be the toughest. The present moment that we are living in, always felt like the toughest moment in our lives. When that moment passed, we will realize that it is but just another moment that we thought is the toughest but in actual fact, there will be more and more of such moments in life as we continue to grow. It is through these moments, that we grow and become a better individual.
Thank you my girls @utasong & @natassja.putri for coming over with the flower, bear and balloons. Most importantly, for coming over to celebrate this moment of my life. Love you girls! 💕💕 Lastly, @ngh_92 you look happier than I am in the picture! Thank you for ending work early to snap a picture with me! Your nub cousin isn't that nub right!?😏

Met up with my first #ClarkAtlantaUniversity Roomie Tamiko Jackson, to show support to our fellow #Alumnus and #EmmyAwardWinning#Photojournalist#AnthonyWhite , at his #SeafoodandWineTasting "Taste the Crab." This was a pop up event showcasing his food delivery business, Windell's Seafood!
We were able to taste crab salad, shrimp salad, spicy seafood soup w\ an old school grilled cheese sandwich and fabulous peach\pineapple Sangria or red Sangria. Scrumptious! A large networking turnout, good music and a few celebrities were in the mix. Congratulations Anthony! #windellseafood#windellseafoodsoup *No drinking & driving was done. @ojfloyd * I thought this location looked familiar...I auditioned for a role here, but didn't book it.
Carolyn Ocheltree, or "Mama O" as she is more commonly known, uses her restaurant @treeoflifefresno to restore both #DowntownFresno and the lives of those who work with her. See how this #Bulldog#alumna does it at the link in our bio.
Weber State alumnus Andrey Akhmedov's family immigrated from Russia in 1993. Before graduating high school he had already earned an Associate's degree. After taking a computer science course he found his passion, and is now working at Hill Air Force Base making flying F-16s simpler for pilots in Belgium and Portugal.
Though my time in uni was nothing spectacular, it equipped me with the opportunities and skills to get by in this hostile environment known as ‘work’. .
