Take me there.
Pretty please 💕
The weather is some what miserable in my little town.
Time to hunker down.
I think a little bit of meditation + journaling might be in order.

Today was a crazy day for me. It was my first Monday back to work after a week long vacation. I woke up this morning and the grey skies and rainy weather made me want to stay in my bed and snuggle Binx. I hit snooze a few times, eventually making it to the shower. I drove to the north shore just before the skies really opened up and worked a long day, staying focused on getting all my work done. Out at 8p, I drove home to grab a sports bra and my singing bowl so I could lead the first ever yoga class at the Bridal Suite. It was such a privilege to lead this group of strong women through some gentle yoga and to meditate on the energy that we are surrounded by day in and out. Working with brides is so much fun and it’s extremely rewarding but it’s not all love and sunshine everyday. (News flash, nothing in life is.) As bridal consultants we encounter all sorts of women and the energy they carry. Some are the happiest brides, some are dealing with body image issues, some have recently lost a parent, some have been battling an illness, some have an interesting family dynamic, some live here on Long Island while the rest of their family is out of state. The list goes on and on. Everyday we meet new women and we get to hear their stories. We get to become friends. That’s a beautiful thing. ((~human connection~)) Tonight the alteration’s department was transformed into a safe haven for us ladies and we hope we left our good energy up there for all the brides, mother of the brides, mother of the grooms and bridesmaids coming in for alterations this week! Namaste! Also, I ate half a watermelon for dessert and that’s okay cause it’s summer.
My darling boy, TJ.
You have blessed me with 11 years of love, laughter and memories. Not forgetting the stress and worries too 🙈
You're a compassionate, kind and seriously funny young man!
You teach me each day to be better and I hope I am able to help teach you to be true to yourself and how special you are.
I hope my loves and passions teach you and help you embrace having an open mind. Not being scared of others thoughts and judgements no matter how mean and unkind they can be. I hope that I am able to help you to be fearless and brave. You have shown such strength and courage this year and I'm so proud of you.
You truly do not know how special you are and will always be to me! From the moment you came into my arms I knew you were a gift. I am so honoured that you call me mum! (I hate it when you jokingly call me Jaynee though! 😘) The number 11 marks the enlightenment and awakenings, the Intuition and creativity. Positive thinking, imagination and self expression... Here's to a whole year of celebrating 11!
I hope that you have the most amazing day my blue eyed sweetheart. May your day be Blessed with many treasured memories. I love you... In April I joined @fortiswest.
For me, this was a dramatic change not only in environment but allowed for an earlier training time and different/new equipment.
After a month of easing myself into this change, I decided I would document my programming in support of the different methods/protocol in my personal workouts.
Since I was going to begin running kettlebell classes, I thought I would start with a 4 week block of JUST kettlebell training.
May 6th was day before the start of the 4 week kettlebell focused training block. I followed intermittent fasting and a strict paleo diet during those 4 weeks.
June 2nd was the result from the 4 kettlebell block, transitioning into an 8 week Hypertrophy/bodybuilding focused block. This time I went back to eating healthy burgers, pizza and burritos. I also included 1 Guinness a day for the fun of it.
July 28th is the result from the hypertrophy/bodybuilding block, transitioning into the 4 week speed and strength block that I am currently in.
Depending upon your experience and eye for detail, you may or may not see a difference between the June and July pictures.
I welcome any questions or comments.
