Unrelated to the photo but do you guys think I should post spoken word on here? I'm super critical about my poetry but I want to share it . I used to do oral interpretation back in my speech and debate days and have been really missing it lately. Been feeling inspired. Anyways, here's a photo of some barges. I think boat houses are really cool. I wonder what made someone decide to live in a smaller space such as this.

Lately I’ve a lot of loved ones around me stressed or feeling sadness over things they just can’t control.
Even myself at times get moments of feeling overwhelmed by factors that are uncontrollable.
However although I can’t always control those factors, I am able to control how I react to them.
I’m getting very good at controlling my emotions and being able to switch focus onto a more positive pathway. .
Taking those moments to just stop. .
Inhale and exhale and be as calm as the water you see in this photo is freaking imperative!
I understand that sometimes things can get over Whelming and you can run with assorts of emotions.
Sharing how you feel can either do really good or actually make you feel worse depending on who you speak with.
Sometimes drawing attention to certain things does more harm than good at times, so putting your focus onto other things can really help.
My 5 tips for changing your focus onto a more positive path are; .
1. Go out into the fresh air and embrace the beauty around you. (Not enough time is spent outside in the fresh air)
2. Focus on things that make you smile. Drawing more focus to them will lead to less focus on the negative. -
3. Things you can’t control let your subconscious handle it. (If you can’t control it then there’s no point stressing about it) -
4. Go date yourself ! ( take yourself out for a drink, shopping (window) coffee any thing that involves you time.) -
5. List 5 things that you are grateful for that make you smile. Read them at loud and I guarantee you’ll start to smile. -
I hope this helps and I hope you all have a fantastic awesome Tuesday ! .
