This is such a great yard!
A wonderful place to play & just hang out.💚
The install was done by the homeowner and he did a great job!👍🏻✅💦 We couldn’t resist posting these great photos, especially with such an adorable model & featuring some fine install skills by Mike.😁 If you’d like to have a great yard with some beautiful Blue Grass Sod to call your own, just give us a call! ☎️ 204-269-3052

When I was 12, he broke the news that I wasn’t Irish. And then he told me that I *was* Scottish, introduced me to the MacGillivray clan, told me about a thing called “studying abroad” that sometimes happens during university, and convinced me I could one day visit the land of my ancestors myself.
By the time I was 14, he’d long since guided me into the punny world of newspaper comic strips and the slightly ridiculous world of Hercules and Xena, and he’d encouraged my first reads of Star Wars novels and Stephen R. Lawhead Arthurian epics.
On my 15th birthday, he gave me my first ever driving lesson in a blizzard. And later that summer, he walked into the living room and told me I was going to get a job. I’ve never regretted my McDonald’s year or the lesson that if I can drive in a blizzard, I can drive in anything.
When I was 17, he told me that I wasn’t entitled to get whatever I wanted without any effort. He said I could chase the life I wanted with his support, but I had to put in the work myself to make it happen. I didn’t like that much, but hindsight is 20/20 and I’m forever grateful now that he stood his ground.
At 19, I took that study abroad term he’d talked about. I walked where MacGillivrays had walked and one morning in Oxford, I crossed paths for one eternal moment with Stephen R. Lawhead himself.
And at 33, I got a graduate degree in medieval studies from a British university. And learned that chasing my dreams is harder than I thought, but it’s absolutely worth the work.
Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. You only had 18 years to teach me a lifetime’s worth of lessons, but I learned even more from you than you probably knew.
I love this vicarious experience.
Settled & unsettled all at the same time.
Relishing the unknown and enjoying what is available to take in.
#worthy like the brewery we enjoyed lunch at after our nature excursion.
Get out there!
Go into the wilderness and explore!
Take in nourishment and healing along the way to build energy and strength toward doing all that you want to do!
#helloweekend cupcakes for breakfast? My children would love that. These are for a stall at the local fair,
last night I burned the first batch, these at least turned out ok. My #glutenfree#dairyfree contribution. Today is going to be a good one!
Despite the best efforts of every builder that’s worked on this house, we’re pretty confident that we can increase the airtightness to a good level. There are some great and considerate builders here in the UK, but there’s some awful ones too. Finding ones that don’t have bad habits can be an uphill struggle. #britishbuilders#builders#construction#architecture#ajobwelldone#snug
I love when one of our older children comes home - & so do the younger kids! They absolutely light up when they're around! Our home seems to overflow with joy! Today especially. Yesterday I finally got brave enough to go work in the yard. You see, it's tick season in our corner of the world. We live in a beautiful area, known as "God's Country", unfortunately, it's super endemic for lyme. After struggling with lyme for so many years it still scares me sometimes to go out. Once out I enjoyed it tremendously! These girls worked right along with me while the boys worked on their own projects. Working together as a family seems to connect us in a way nothing else can. There really is something to the saying "the satisfaction & pride of a job well done", this combined with team work.. we were all so thrilled with getting our yard back into shape. Not completely done but feeling so good nonetheless!! :)
