You alone have the power to drive the change you want to see.
I implore you to go forth from this place with courage that is born from a deep hope and with a belief that you, you alone, have the power to drive the change you want to see.

A few years ago this beautiful lady made the decision to go naturally Grey. The challenge soon became that parts of her hair were turning yellow. Her solution was to cut the yellow out when no one was looking 😂 not a great choice for someone who wanted long hair. I did some research and found that U.V exposure and oxidation of hair products were the culprit. So to combat that now she is on a #haircare regimen thay keeps her hair shiny beautifully silver and most of all healthy. Natural does not have to mean dull #agegracefully#livingproof#loveyourhair#silver#brilliance#sjhairstylist
YES HE IS SPOILED AF
Spike is quite the #personality . But truth be told he has filled a huge #void for me.
I spend a majority of my time alone and having his #furriness to #cuddle makes me #happy .
THIS GIRL’S BEST FRIEND HANDS DOWN
Ok here it is, the joys of makeup.💄Over the next couple of post I am going to be sharing different makeup houses that I love with you. Why buying high quality makeup is a wonderful investment for you skin and why beautiful brand names make us feel special and treasured. Are we just paying for a name. I really don’t think so. Cosmetic houses like YSL LANCÔME, ESTEE LAUDER , BOBBI BROWN to name a few , all have one thing in common , they deliver. They are also really fussy about the quality of the ingredients they use. So it is almost unheard of to have a problem with them. They are also happy to hand out samples to try before you buy. So yes they may be more expensive but in the end they are really worth it because they do indeed give you the look and feel you are after.
There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.
I use to FEAR aging. I remember hearing “once a woman hits 40 you trade her in for a newer model.” Needless to say, turning 40 was 😬😢🤬but 4 years have gone by and I feel DEEP and EXPANSIVE FREEDOM, STRENGTH and ZEST for life. I want to do ALL the things!!!! Maybe, its because I spent the majority of my life focused on everything and anything but myself or maybe because the up’s and down’s of life forced me to a place of GROWTH.
I learned the importance of self love, boundaries, value and respect. I learned if someone values you they won’t risk losing you, I’m the driver of my life. One lane. No one else’s. I teach people how to love me so stop blaming them for doing it wrong. That GOOD nutrition is crucial to my mind, body and spirit, creativity is a HUGE part of me and sharing my story fuels my soul. Just a few of many 🙏🏻and I’m 100% sure I’m not done learning 💪🏻
Not everyday is the best day. Somedays I cry and want to be held. Somedays I have the strength of Rocky and kick some ass. That’s life. That’s aging. I’m not afraid of adding another #. I’m afraid of when they stop.
Love and hope to all xo .
The lines under my eyes have been there since my mid teens. The dent (worry line or surprise line as I call it) in my forehead has been there just as long. My smile lines have been there as long as I can remember and have only gotten more pronounced.
Is that so bad though? To say I've smiled so much that I've put permanent creases in my face, that I've raised my eyebrows in surprise enough to create a deep dent?
Is it so bad to have lines on your face that tell the world, "I have lived"? Embrace your lines, your gray hairs, your changing body.
Tell the world you have lived without ever saying a word.
I had a bad day today but when I sat down this evening and really reflected on it, I was glad for the lesson. Now to learn from it and move on to a new day.
And to be happy that today,
I was here & I have lived.
One of the most common areas to treat with Botox are the lines around the eyes called crow’s feet. Many people are concerned that it may change the shape of their eyes or make them look frozen, but because the ocular muscle can be strong and movement from the cheeks also help create those lines, it is rare to get an undesirable result when treating this area. #laskinaesthetics#LASABandA

TBT: first pic is from September 2017. The second pic is from last night. A member at the gym saw me yesterday, said I looked like I lost weight since last year. I actually gained 5lbs since last year. She smiled and said, "must be muscle!" The compliment made me smile, too. Seeing the numbers go up on the scale isn't always easy. But I look back at old pics of myself and see where the weight is going. My boobs are bigger, so are my butt and thighs😉 And look at the size of those biceps in the second pic💪🏾My belly could always stand to get a bit tighter, but I'm done trying to maintain my teenager weight. Gotta love this gracefully aging body ❤❤❤ #loveyourbody#tbt#throwbackthursday#flex#girlswithmuscle#fitchick#agegracefully#pilatesbody
Cheek enhancement represents one of the most popular dermal filler procedures that we perform in the clinic.
Most people come along and say that they want some help with looking fresher, but they're not sure exactly what they need.
In my experience, because of the aging process (volumetric changes in the facial fat, loss of elasticity in the skin) simply giving a little more volume in the mid-section of the face enhances the overall confluence from eye, to cheek, to lower face. This means that the convexity and shapliness of the face is enhanced.
Also adding volume to the cheeks gives lift to the jawline and jowls.
Cheek enhancement is £350 for 1 ml, or £550 for 2 ml.
The lady in the photographs had just one.
We use a special dermal filler called #Teosyal Ultra Deep to give maximum projection of the facial tissues, the most effective result you can get from a small amount of product.
This #dermalfiller is also very good at holding its shape, so you can return to normal activities such as sleeping on the side of your face or having facial treatments very quickly afterwards.
It won't move or budge; in fact what it does is enhance your own #collagen production and keep lots of water in your skin - so that your skin quality is improved with hydration.

LET’S TALK RECOVERY
Are you looking to live a sober lifestyle?
I would like to share with you the way I #work my recovery.
I did not choose to take the tradition route of AA or Rehab. For me these options were not appealing. Going to a rehabilitation center would have been too costly. Period. And I was not interested in going to meetings.
I knew that #sobriety was my goal and I got to work.
Always at the forefront is my #why .
My family is my WHY. I could not go through another day seeing the disappointment on their faces.
I was such a terrible example for my youngest daughter. 😢 I was worrying my family terribly.
I began to focus on my health. Eating right and exercising. By doing this I increased my self confidence, and lessened the symptoms of depression. I continue to do this daily. Exercise for me is #meditationinmotion .
I had to look inward and find gratitude in ALL that I am blessed with. It is so easy to get caught up in the negative that we lose sight of all the positive... don’t do that.
When I feel anxiety creeping in, I go to my breath and slow things down. I step into nature and let the sounds and smells fill my soul with peace and the anxiety subsides.
I have learned to call my husband when I feel like drinking and he helps me through.
Since Wednesday, August 17, 2016, I have remained alcohol free. That is 746 days, 16 hours and 47 minutes as I type this.
I am here to help. I know what it takes.
Join my virtual #soberbootcamp beginning OCTOBER 1ST. Learn to eat healthy and lift some weights!
IN THE END IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU GET SOBER...JUST THAT YOU DO!
