How often to you get outside and go camping? We’ve spent countless nights sleeping in a tent. It’s so much fun and also a crazy challenge. Some nights are overwhelmingly hot, some freezing cold. Some nights are simple, some nights the amount of stars amaze us. Some times it hails, sometimes it rains. Each circumstance challenges us, but they also all reward us. With beauty, fun, growth, and excitement.
When are you going camping next?
Or what scares you about camping that you want to get past?
We have been having so much fun flying our drone lately! It’s awesome to be able to capture a new angle of our adventures. Soon we will share our favorite drone image that we have captured so far! We can’t wait!
Happy birthday to this mega babe @bremirynech ! I am so grateful I get to spend time with you on a daily basis. Stoked on all the adventures we’ve had together and to many more coming. You’re inspiring girl.
I love you so much, keep up the good vibes ❤️✌🏼
What a STUNNING day for larch valley today 🍂
Nature echoes what humans resist
That cocoons burst open
And stars implode into supernovas
And that birth is painful to the one delivering
And that to become who we are
We must shed who we aren’t
We must allow ourselves the storm - Brianna Wiest
A bit of history.
Marie is kind of a family heirloom. The trailer was bought used in 1975 by my (Erika) mom’s family and carried them through many miles and adventures over the years.
About 15 years ago she was parked at my grandparents’ cottage and hasn’t really been moved since.
Sitting pretty on the property, there were a couple of offers to buy her by people passing by, but my Nana, Marie’s namesake, did not want her sold.
This year I had the extreme fortune of being gifted the trailer for my birthday. I had previously expressed some subtle interest in it, and my Grandpa was glad about the opportunity to give her a new life and keep her in the family.
Pictured here: A peek at some custom upholstery by the original Marie, after the interior of the trailer was ruined by a cigarette catastrophically burning into one of the foam cushions. She passed away this February and I regret that she won’t be able to witness another rebirth of this shining star.

We feel super fortunate to have such an awesome community! Read on to find out how ambassador @hiking.honey is going above and beyond for her community!
Southern California resident @hiking.honey recently read that the flag at the summit of Mount Baden-Powell wasn’t there. Someone had taken it down along with the sign that read “Mt. Baden-Powell Elev. 9,399 ft”. “I haven’t yet had the chance to summit so this was a major disappointment to hear. I decided I’d head up there with a new flag to put up. I headed up to the top to find an empty pole and no trace of a sign. I put up the new flag and will be taking back a new sign soon.”
Spotlight on Nat’s ambassador @xariax this week ✨ Aria and her squad recently used Nat to venture to south of SF for some hiking and beach action. Aria’s currently a student at Cal Berkeley, but grew up on a tiny island off the coast of Massachusetts, called Nantucket. She loves sushi & all things ocean 🐠🌊 Aria’s favorite thing about the Bay Area is the accessibility of beautiful, natural landscapes- and how easy it is to get outside!! Keep up the exploring, Aria 😎
