They have over 200 cats at their shelter and stores in the area! If they’re not already at full capacity, they’re gonna be and it’s gonna be very difficult to ensure these babies get a chance at a loving home that they deserve.
Check out your local shelter today people! Wherever you are!
Almost two years ago, I went to pet smart to visit a cat that was up for adoption. I didn't click with the cat I went to see, but Ophelia wrapped herself around my finger with her boopable pink nose, loud purring, and love of belly rubs. She came home the next day!
The face of Sunday #7weeksold#chaton#kitten#furbaby 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱 this gorgeous little fella and his 3 sisters are still up for adoption! They’re ready to go to their new homes from next week onwards,so if you or anyone you know (in Paris or beyond) would like to give a good home to one (or more) happy, healthy babies, let me know 😽 (if you’re on vacation in August but would like to adopt when you come back that’s not a problem) #adoptacat
Cotton Candy is a lovely gray and white DSH. She and her siblings (San Fransisco and Bobo) were born March 24, 2018 and are all polydactyl. They are the cottage kittens; so named because they were found in a ditch by a kind passer-by on her way to the cottage. Her foster says she gave her the name because she is just sooo sweet.😙 She also says Cotton Candy will steal your heart in a second.💖😽 All three kittens are very happy as indoor cats. They are using the litter box and scratching posts without issue and love playing with their human foster brothers. They are young rambunctious kittens and will be happiest in a lively house with others cats. They have not yet been introduced to a dog.
You gotta be kitten me!
Who says cats don't play fetch! This little lady is almost adopted. Very excited as the new parents think she is too cute. We do too.... will be very hard to let her go. @HART is the adoption group.
What can be sometimes more important than food, toys or cuddles? A cat tree!
Lets be honest: even with the best intention, we spend only a fraction of our daily time really intensively with our kitty. Therefore we have to provide as much as possible stimulation otherwise to keep our four-legged friend(s) happy and healthy. A playmate is always a possibility, but even in a multi-cat household, this item can keep the peace in the group! - It provides scratching areas (salvation for your furniture)
- allows stretching the muscles - functions as message board with all the smells
- adds territory ("boss" cat is often right at the top while the others arrange themselves on the levels below)
- gives security for cats that need a high spot
- offers save and comfortable sleeping stations and - best of all - - provided "Cat TV" (enables to look out of the window)! If you pick a nice location (preferably in front of a window or at least in an area where the most activity in the house happens) you just enriched the life of your cat. Just like us, cats enjoy a nice view out of the window! They can spend hours following every single movement outside. They flare up at the sight of another cat, they get totally excited at the view of a bird, "chattering" away. Every little branch or leaf moving provides stimulation and triggers her senses. And when she finally falls asleep, the twitching whiskers and legs tell you that she is dreaming of the bird she "almost" caught . There is a happy cat.
Hier wachsen gerade echte Traumkatzen heran! 😍
Before my last trip I had an iron infusion done and my nurse was a legend. We got talking and I told her about my kitty, and how she was a foster fail (meaning we adopted her because we loved her too much to see her go).
When I came back from my trip, I had a follow up appointment to get my results. I had the same nurse and she was bursting with excitement to tell me that she had adopted her own cat! It was so cool how excited she was to tell me, and you could tell she already loved her sweet little cat!
If you’re thinking of getting a pet, there are some great organisations that work really hard to rehome abandoned animals, adults and kittens/pups. Make sure you do your research and don’t support the horrible puppy farm industry!
Thanks to @cathavenau for you endless and amazing work helping these animals that would otherwise be put down. And thanks for bringing me and this gorgeous little sassmonster together, we love her so much 💌
