Happy anniversary to one of my absolute favorite couples. Barb and Eddie have the kind of old school love that you meet them and instantly know they were made for each other. I’m so envious of the love you just radiate together.
RSVP for a Woodland Wedding⠀
This could be part of a beach-themed wedding as well. I just love the look of a light wash of watercolor behind clean and beautiful lettering. There’s something calming about simplicity in design. As much as I LOVE being very detailed in most of my work, I’ve been gravitating toward simple, minimalist designs more and more lately - both in work and in life.⠀
Those who are closest to me know when things get stressful, I love procrastinating by cleaning and organizing things, and have been striving for a while to live with less: less stuff, less stress, less worry. It’s hard to do, especially when the world outside my life bubble is all about more, more, MORE. But I have found if the clutter is cleared out, the important things come to light much easier; spacing between letters make them easier to read, space in my home means less to clean and space in my calendar means more time for the things that matter the most. We could all use a little space between things in our lives, a little space to breathe. I can’t wait to see how this appetite for simplicity will manifest in my work. I hope you can find some time and space in your weekend to forget the stress and clutter that weighs you down and ease your mind a bit - or are inspired to make some space if you’re feeling the need to!⠀

Wedding tours are currently running through the fall! If you have fallen in love with the beautiful upstate foliage and would jump at the opportunity to set this romantic tone for your outdoor ceremony, check out pondhillpavilion.com and book a tour today.
If you saw my stories from today, you saw that I got a flat tire on the way to have an emergency root canal. I held my tongue as to not yell “what else can happen!” for fear I would jinx myself. But the silver lining to all my days (no matter how many unfortunate turns they may take) is that I have a fiancé that catches me when I fall. Without another question besides “where are you” he was on his way to get me back up and running. @haggertysj you are the best manfriend ever. Thanks for making hard days easier.
I need to give a shout-out to my best friend in the entire world! Three years ago today she tied the knot with the love of her life at a beautiful, rustic summer camp tucked away in the woods down the street from the Adirondack town they live in and love. ⛰🛶🌲⠀
That day was full of roaring laughter, joyful tears, and plenty of love all around while we watched those two profess their love on the dance floor as the rain poured outside. I couldn’t have been happier for my sister-from-another-mister and I still am today! 💕⠀
She has always been a huge supporter of my work, and was my first real wedding customer! Her rustic Adirondack wedding suite was a mix of both digital illustration and watercolor, incorporating her favorite sunflowers and daisies with modern lettering, woodland photography, kraft paper and a venue map all wrapped up in twine and tucked in an ivory envelope. 🌻⠀
This suite is what got me started on my stationery journey, which is still only just beginning, but I couldn’t have come this far without her loving support along the way. I love you, girl! 😘⠀
If you see @jahpash1023 today, wish her a Happy Anniversary!! 🎉🥂🍾⠀
