So much truth to this photo & quote.
If you had of asked me years ago; being a photographer wasn’t even in my mind. It wasn’t until I was home with my second baby, documenting life as it happened around me, that I learned I had such a passion & love for the camera.
Not just for the art, the memories & the moments - but knowing that each click preserved an emotion, a milestone. A moment that passed by so quickly. I fell in love with the idea of learning the basics. Practicing & practising & more practice! Until I gained the knowledge & confidence to offer my services to clients. I will forever be thankful for the incredible mentoring I received from a very special friend.
I was so excited to be able to capture a moment in time for people that they too could cherish for a lifetime.
To be able to “capture your story.” Photographs are a gift. An investment.
Some day; photos may be all you have left of a time in your life with loved ones.
That fact hit me hard & heavy when we were at a funeral of a very special person... Watching tears flow & smiles light up faces as the slideshow of photos, the slideshow of memories & love played on the big screen.
It is so much more than me pressing a button.
It is my love & care into ensuring I capture these exact moments for you.
Even in the every day moments, grab your cameras. Take photos.

Today, this is a beautiful image. In years to come though, gosh, it’s value and appreciation will only grow and grow as they do; as their love magnifies and their bond continues to solidify. May they always come back to this: the first week they met.
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous little man over the weekend... and man did he make me WORK!
Don't let that peaceful little face fool you, he did not sleep a wink... Most of the time looked straight at me through the barrel of my lens!
It was an honour to see this beautiful family again and photograph this little man as I did his two big sisters before him. ❤ Orlo Teddy - 8 days new ❤
