Reminding myself how truly fortunate and blessed I am to be able to get out of bed in the morning, to avtually have a bed, and a roof above that bed, and a body who is letting me stand up and do the things I want to do is a very powerful practice. Having food to eat, and money to buy food, being able to spend time with my 2 beautiful, healthy and amazing kids, being supported by my clients and friends. Feeling grateful is a great tool that is helping me to see the bigger picture and to put things into perspective!!! It not only takes the edge of intense, stressful and overwhelming times and situations, it actually energizes me to push through and to let go of worries. Throwing in an Eastern, taoistic mindset, acknowledging that the only constant is change, going with flow, living with the seasons, the question arises: "What was the problem again?":).
