Aside from that, I want to say it's okay to eat out. It's okay to go out and be social. It's okay to be a normal person. The gym will always be there and if you eat right then you feed your body the right nutrients to grow. I still have my ups and downs but I have been starting to understand that curves are a good thing. Yes being shredded is cool, but so is food 🤷🏼‍♀️ just do things in moderation is the biggest tip I can give anyone. Don't restrict yourself completely because then you may upset those around you if you constantly say no! Stay hungry my friends 👌🏼

I'm at that point where I miss being this lean BUT I'm so happy I am fueling my body enough with food so I can get killer lifts in. The struggle is real guys! 😂 I haven't been free of muscle soreness since after my show. I was going to take a picture after my killer workout today but was hangry so I hurried my butt out of there.. ya girl's gotta eat because she has an appetite of a man 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Davno je postalo jasno kroz dokaze u naucnim istrazivanjima da broj ponavljanja u seriji ne igra znacajnu ulogu kada je misicni rast u pitanju, dok god je volumen treninga jednak. Brad Schoenfeld je jedan medju prvima, koji je u jednom od svojih istrazivanja dokazao da 7 serija po 3 ponavljanja ima isti ucinak na rast misica kao i 3 serije po 10 ponavljanja, ukoliko je volumen jednog i drugog treninga jednak.

✏Volumen predstavlja ukupan podignut teret tokom treninga. Racuna se tako sto se mnozi broj serija u vjezbi sa brojem ponavljanja u seriji i onda sa kilazom sa kojom su serije radjene ( racuna se za svaku seriju posebno ukoliko svaku ne radite sa istom kilazom i za svaku vjezbu posebno jer ne radi se svaka vjezba sa istim opterecenjem ).

Wow, what a journey it's been...and still is.

It might not be #throwbackthursday or #transformationtuesday but when I saw this pic my husband took last night, I couldn't wait.

This shows a slow but non deniable progression over the past 2 years. Sure, the angles and lighting are different, but it's still obvious.

I'm done being the skinny, weak girl.
I'm done having low confidence and self esteem.
I'm done dealing with constant anxiety.
I'm done with hating my body.
I'm done feeling insecure.

Along with building this muscle I've truly built so much confidence.
I'm a new woman.
A stronger woman.
A better woman.
Someone I can can feel proud to be and I will never stop trying to be a better me.

I love my back. It shows all of my hard work, now I'm working on catching the rest of my body up to it!

Masti su izvor energije koje tijelo cuva za period kada ne dobija dovoljno energije kroz ishranu, pa masti ( glikogen i u odredjenim situacijama amino kiseline ) koristi po potrebi. ✨ rear delt rope flye: wide elbows and bring the rope to your temples with thumbs facing down and inward.

✨ incline chest press: come down to feel a nice stretch in your pec, then explode up.

✨ seated shoulder press: try super hard to keep your back against the bench and let the DBs come down all the way to tap your shoulders.

You have no idea what someone has been through, so think about that before judging someone so quickly.

Me, being the hip hop lover I am, can feel for Lil Wayne’s song “Don’t Get It.”

It’s a song about racial prejudice & the way society stereotypes black people based on their skin.

It’s bullshit, & he expresses his feelings on this issue in the song. It’s about 7 minutes long, a really good listen if you have the time.

I’m here to challenge you to be a little bit more compassionate next time you notice an “unusual” person.

Whether that be the way they look, their sexual orientation, or the hobbies they are in to.
.
You don’t have to agree with it, but you can be accepting of the life they choose to live.

A little less shittalk a day goes a long way. Positive vibes is the way to go.

HAPPY SUNDAY!!! Not to be boastful but I fricken killed leg day today. On Wednesday I accidentally squatted extra weight and was not ready for it so I took it off. Today I put my normal weight for 5 reps on and it was cake so I put the “not ready for it” weight back on and CRUSHED IT! The body is truly amazing. These lifts were 4 days apart and I felt so much stronger this time. Bodybuilding is wonderful 😬 Never stop pushing! If it’s easy, it isn’t enough. Let’s get it. 👊🏼💥💪🏼 #trainhardlivehappy

Workout followed as so.

1) 4x8 Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns. Focus on pulling from your elbows and pinning them back so you can fully squeeze your back muscles. If you feel it more in your biceps, lighten the weight and focus on your back.

2) 4x8 Chest Supported Bent Over DB Row. Keep your core nice and tight, make sure you don’t arch your low back, & pull from your elbows and squeeze your scaps together.
.
3) 3x12-15 Straight Armed Lat Pulldown. Use a rope, & every time you bring the weight down, pull the rope apart so you can fully contract your back muscles.

4) 3x10 Preacher Curl Machine. Squeeze those pythons 🐍!
.
5) 3x10 Inc. DB Curl. Dig your shoulder blades into the bench, contract your core, & focus on a full range of motion so you can fully stretch and squeeze your biceps.

6) 3x10 Reverse Grip EZ Bar Curl. Working on those forearms!

7) 60 Roman Chair Knee Raises. I didn’t film the ab portion, but if you wanted some extra work try it out!

Today I was demonstrating a seated hamstring stretch for my client and they told me I have solid quads 😱🤯 I have hated my legs pretty much my entire life so let me tell you that once you finally get to love your most disliked part of your body... THAT is when you know you are kicking ASS! This, by no means, gives me a big ego. This allows me to appreciate and respect my own hard work more than ever. It’s so easy to flaw yourself... You MUST know how to give yourself a pat on the back. I am finally at a point in my life that I no longer strive to look like anyone else. I strive to be the most badass version of myself. Ever since the show before I went pro (Jr Nationals.) I have been reverse dieting, but after NPC Universe and to now I have barely been tracking my food.
I try to hit macros and some days I just can’t. 🙄
I’ve been traveling, I’ve been in the process of a move, I’ve been recovering, and tbh.. I’ve been LIVING.
Some days I hit all my macros, then I want some halo top, so I eat it. Some days I hit my macros to a T, but have a piece of candy or 2 through the day. Some days I estimate around but eat what I want because I’m hungry - and das ok too. 😋😋
✨ Over 2 weeks ago was my last day in the gym for a while, and since then I’ve just been CHillLliN. No energy expenditure, no outlet, just literally sitting around and eating. 🤰🏼Ever since stepping away from the gym I’ve realized I really just love being healthy and naturally active.
I love counting my steps per day, walking my dogs, and just enjoying my life. I’m not as lean anymore, and I WILL continue to gain weight, but frick, I just love being able to breathe mentally.
Tbh, I might stop tracking all together for a while, idk. I’m just rambling now, but I have a lot of mixed feelings, also am craving a huge salad. 🍔🥦🥓🥔🍇🌮🥘🍡
