Single Leg Jump Squat.
This is a great exercise to perform for explosion through your glutes. Using one leg truly focuses on the activation of your glutes as well as enhancing coordination and balance.👏
•Stand on one leg, squat down slightly until you feel your glute on the respected side activated
•When going down, maintain a neutral spine
•As you go up, explode off the ground (keep in mind you only need to lift a few inches off the ground) •As you land, do so softly💪 ————————————————————————
Perform this exercise according to your work rate and then add a little extra to push yourself. Perform this exercise slowly when you go down. Some tips for keeping balance is to stare at one point in the ground and don’t lose sight of it. 👍

Today I had a check up with my surgeon... the first thing he told me was about the conversations that were happening while I was asleep... apparently the theatre room was buzzing with excitement and the nurses filled my surgeon in on “who” I was 🙊🙊 it makes me so happy that I am well known for the right reasons 💪🏻💪🏻 and my surgeon was pretty excited to find out who’s foot he was fixing and why it meant so much to me to have it fixed 😊
having an extremely smart talented surgeon tell me 😱 how amazing & motivating I am makes me feel so special and PROUD! He told me today that I’m going to change so many peoples lives.. HELL YES I AM!! My stitches came out today. 💥 STEP UP en bossu + LUNGE 💥
“ ¡Buenos días guerreros ✨
El otro día os hablábamos de posibles beneficios de las superfícies inestables. Aquí os dejamos un ejemplo de un ejercicio específico de trabajo de fuerza, para modalidades que impliquen la carrera a pie. (Como el running o el trail🏃🏽♀️🏃🏼♂️)
1️⃣ STEP UP EN BOSSU: partimos de la posición de zancada con apoyo en el bossu con la pierna delantera. Con una triple extensión de tobillo, rodilla y cadera empujamos fuerte y nos colocamos encima.
2️⃣ EQUILIBRIO MONOPODAL: mantener el equilibrio en posición específica de carrera (rodilla levantada, acción de armado del pie, ángulo 90° de la rodilla levantada y espalda recta) para ganancias propioceptivas y de control motor.
3️⃣ LUNGE CON SOBRECARGA EXCÉNTRICA: desde arriba nos dejamos caer activamente hasta el suelo. Colocar el pie de apoyo un poco lejos para asegurar que la rodilla no sobrepase la punta del pie. Con la KB y el cambio de altura, se exagera la sobrecarga del ejercicio, en esta fase excéntrica.
