Second day on the new book and there’s just so much I’ve already learned about sleeping smarter and what sleep actually means and why it’s so important. Something that gripped me was that over time people evolve and lose the essentially non important qualities of survival, so sleep is a time when it could be perceived as a risk, due to predators etc, however we have never lost this characteristic and it has always been a key part of survival since the first caveman, this is because it’s actually a vital part in regeneration, self healing, brain waste removal, and in producing melatonin which is crucial to so many other aspects in our life and if we encourage this through good sleep practice we can vastly improve many elements of our life’ such an interesting book 💭

Accountability is paramount for your weight loss journey. I, personally, love using my Apple Watch Series 3. The red ring is for calories burned, green is exercise duration, and blue is standing time. My goals are set to 330 cal burned, 30 mins of exercise, and standing once each hour for 12 hours. I’ve also been able to swim using my watch too because it is water proof. Being able to set daily goals and achieve daily goals is great to see at the end of the day. Tracking progress is important to see the days you are making your goals and finding solutions to those days that you do not. Being a solicitor wasn’t enough for me! 👩🎓
When I was at school all I wanted to be was a hairdresser. I worked in a salon from the age of 14 earning £15 for an 8 hour day sweeping the floor, making cups of teas and washing hair. The salon let my friends come in and I used to do put ups ... I loved my first job.
I still continued my studies and during my a levels my law teacher said to me I should really re consider my decision to go into hairdressing and look at doing a law degree. **
I loved the law (and knew I had the fighting nature to become a good lawyer) so off I went to law school and went on to become a solicitor. **
I could write a book as to the treatment received during my training days and after I qualified. It was and is still very much a mans world! It also annoyed me immensely that I was been charged out at £160 an hour (with a minimum of 5 chargeable hours a day) yet getting nothing close to that! I worked hard ... really hard! **
Whilst on maternity leave, we started a business and whilst I went back to the law, we soon made the decision that we needed to employ someone else or I leave my job and throw myself into to a new world with new risks. I was torn ... then a male colleague was awarded a bonus and I wasn’t! I assure you, I worked harder! I asked the firm to reconsider, they said no and I replied with “please accept this as my 3 months written notice”. They soon changed their tune but my mind was made up! **
I left the law and embarked on a new venture. I am now starting all over again and whilst I won’t be leaving my current business (which I love) I will be looking to spread the risk and have access to other sources of income.

What is the one thing you can do today to help you feel unstuck?
What can you do to move out of feeling overwhelm, from trying to move that mountain & self sabotage?
I have a habit of subconsciously distracting myself with household chores, when I have something I need to do which will be taking me out of my comfort zone to grow.
It comes from a childhood inner voice that wants to protect me from failure... telling me that if I don’t try... I can’t fail... as I know I have fear of failure.
It’s your ego showing up trying to keep you playing small, keeping you in the familiar current circumstance that’s making you unhappy. It’s familiar & therefore comfortable & easier.... but soul destroying.
I used to be told to push through my ego, ignore it & work against it.... I see it very differently now.
I view my ago as the small child that’s throwing a tantrum desperate to be heard, demanding my attention in that moment.
So when it shows up I simply ask it what it needs? Then I reassure it that I’m here to take care of it through this process of uncomfortable growth. By giving it comfort in that moment, just a small piece of your attention, allows it to quieten down, step out of your way, leaving you to grow to your next level of expansion. Without fighting, without betraying a part of yourself to get there.... as ONE, every part of your being can grow & expand into who you want to become with ease & flow. 💫

Nothing is impossible; you just have to keep trying doing it. Taking down ways to do it one by one while trying to solve one problem is way more likely to have a positive outcome than not knowing what your options would be at all. Don't ever say that something cannot be done, because it can. It's just that no one figured out how to do it yet!
How often do you make mistakes when you are doing something which you have mastered? When was the last time you fell down while walking? If all you ever do are things you have already mastered, you will rarely, if ever, make mistakes. But that's going to be a very boring life to live, won't it? We make the most mistakes when we try something new. The less like anything else we've tried, the more likely we are to make mistakes. So leave the comfort zone and start taking some risks!
It’s Salad day for me. If you are going to skip fried plantain for dinner and choose salad, make it worth it 😁 My homemade salad, ate it with the boys. The strawberries and tangerine got their attention and they were fine with tasting the vegetables with the fruit.
If you don’t look like this after the first day of your new program, then you ain’t doin’ it right!! 😂💦💪 I have challengers of ALL levels right now doing this program. We have modifier moves for everything. No weights? We have band modifiers. Prior injuries? Modifiers. I literally have people of all ages, shapes and sizes and NO ONE is giving me excuses!! So if we can do this, so can you!! Feeling amazing at the end of the day is an extra sweet reward. Be honest about where you place your health on your list of priorities in your life, and if it’s not already there, move it to number ☝️. You, your job, those in your life that you care for...none of them are able to thrive without YOU AT YOUR BEST. Let me help you get there. I got you when you’re ready! 💪💛✌️
