CHANGE ... is inevitable. But scary as all hell. As @keribergeron put it so well yesterday - it brings out insecurities, fears and is rattling to the core. It stirs up things that have been buried and forces us to work to heal so we can thrive and move forward. .
Change always leads us to our next chapter, adventure, calling... but damn that in between stage is a weird and uncomfortable place to be in, even when we know there are bigger and better things on the horizon.
All I know is that during the stages of change, there is a quiet and subtle feeling of peace - of knowing - of believing in ourselves and our abilities. It’s hard to explain (and gets louder when we get quieter) but I know it’s what allows us to push forward even in moments of utter confusion and doubt. .
So here’s to putting one foot in front of the other.. every.
The journey is the best part anyways .
As promised, here’s that alpine sunset photo. Or, well, this is one of them 😁😍🌄
As we roll into the new week, remember that if you dread every Monday of your life, you will have dreaded 1/7 of your life. So make tomorrow count as much as your Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!! Have a great week, my friends!! 🤗💛☀️💫
I was thinking today that regardless of your struggles there’s always hope. Last year we took an amazing hike and at 12,400 feet above sea level and not a tree around these little guys were popping up. It’s been a challenge this year but we’re making progress. #missmykid#mtevans#abovetreeline#colorado#keepplugging
Camping above tree line. Beautiful, but not always the best decision. The wind was caving in our tent at night and I learned a valuable lesson; that I should be confident that winds/weather will be mild if doing it again. 🌬💨🌪
