For the #abcsofhorrorchallenge letter W, last night I watched Willow Creek, surprisingly enough directed by Bobcat Goldthwait. It was well done, but just didn't do very much. I enjoyed it but felt like it stopped short of any real ending. Anybody got any X suggestions for me??
So I'm way, way past the end date on @mrandmrshalloween #abcsofhorror challenge! Oops! Here's a big post with all six of my final movies!
U - Urban Legends - I'm surprised I hadn't seen this one before but I enjoyed it!
V - The Veil - A horror movie involving a cult?! Yes, please!
W - Winchester - Very interesting but not quite as good as I was wanting it to be. Helen Mirren is a goddess, though.
X - XX - Kind of interesting but not great.
Y - Yetis - I found this on Amazon Prime and couldn't get anything better than a screenshot, lol. I mainly watched this one because my hubby, @nosleep20, kept joking about finding a movie named Yeti for Y. Well, I found it! Cheaply made, poorly written and acted, but humorous.
Z - Zodiac - I've wanted to watch this for years but never had. I'm glad I finally did! By far, my favorite movie of the entire challenge!
Continuing to play catch up with our #abcsofhorrorchallenge , tonight we are going with The Nightmare for N, currently streaming on Netflix.
As someone who has suffered from sleep paralysis my entire life, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to watch this film!
To quote Scream 3:
Sidney: “Hey detective, what’s your favorite scary movie?”
Detective Kincaid: “My life.”
Sidney: “Mine too.”
Still playing catch up this week with the #abcsofhorror challenge, and are leaning towards Green Room for G.
What did you guys think of this film? Is there a different G we should go with instead? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! 🎃
For those of you wondering why we haven’t posted our final #collage for our #abcsofhorrorchallenge , it’s because we’ve been super busy and had to skip a few letters to come back to later when we could really sit down and appreciate them.
One of those letters was O, and we are going with #Oculus 💀
What did you guys think of this film? Are we making the right choice?
After this, only two letters to go til the challenge is complete, at which point we will post which movies we chose for each letter for anyone who didn’t get to catch our posts/stories, and will give feedback as to which ones were our favorites, and of course...hand out prizes!!!
Stay tuned for all that later this week—hope you all are having a fantastic week! 🖤

The weekend got me a little busy to complete the last day of @mrandmrshalloween’s #ABCsofHorror . Ended it with just one final film that was both funny and from 1945. #ZombiesonBroadway had my more preferred form of zombies and was full of laughs. #365toaststotheyear

I completed the #ABCsofHorror with @mrandmrshalloween and @marvelzombie616 this month. Behold the rundown of all the terrifying (both good and bad) new-to-me #horror films I watched!
Letters “V” through “Z.” Here are my picks for the finale of @mrandmrshalloween’s #abcsofhorror ! I had so much fun doing this and discovered A LOT of new favorite movies! Thank you both so much for hosting it!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Day 26 and the final day of the #ABCsOfHorror challenge via @mrandmrshalloween is a movie that starts with the letter Z. I checked out “Zombie Honeymoon” on Showtime On Demand. A really unique take on the zombie sub genre, this low budget indie film was part touching romance, part comedy, party horror, and part tragic love story. While there was no shortage of gore and horror, this one was surprisingly emotional…and a bit of a gut punch. Happy to have discovered it. ❤️🔪❤️🔪❤️🔪
And a huge thanks to @mrandmrshalloween for this awesome challenge. I had a lot of fun and found some great new horror films I might have never otherwise seen. A bit sad that it’s over.
We did it! Finished out the ABCs of horror with Lucio Fulci's Zombie, and we were not disappointed. We were happy to end the challenge on this strong note, we thought it was really good. The effects were great for a 40 year old film, and the ending was awesome! Thank you to @mrandmrshalloween so much for hosting this challenge! It got us watching things we hadn't seen, wouldn't have normally watched, or hadn't gotten around to yet! We've enjoyed doing this one with all of you!
"They were clerks!" For Y we watched Yoga Hosers last night. Evan was much less a fan than I, lol. There were funny parts and references. We loved the cast. We love Kevin Smith. But this was just okay for us. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Some of it was enjoyable, some of it was too bloody ridiculous. What'd everyone else think about it? - Jess
#ABCsOfHorror Letter Z! The Last Letter! Our choices we're considering for our first time watch: #Zoo#ZForZachariah#Zombeavers#Zombie#Zodiac#Zoombies ☆Comment and let us know what we should watch! ☆
For our favorites from the letter Z SWIPE! We chose #Zombieland We have a little history with this movie, and a lot of our friends from college were zombies in it! •
What did we leave out and what are you watching today? ... also, hey guys! We can't believe today's the last day of the challenge. We're a little relieved to be able to watch movies regardless of what letter their title starts with, but we have had such a blast watching movies you've recommended! We have discovered some new favorites that we can't believe we waited so long to finally watch. We hope you had fun discovering some random movies with us- some good, some boring, some scary, and some a little ridiculous. The best part for us was hearing your recommendations, seeing what you chose, meeting so many new horror fans, and chatting about movies with you guys every day. So thank you for spending the past 26 days with us! Love you guys ♡♡♡
It's a busy weekend for us, so in the next few days, we'll post a final list of all the movies we finally chose and let you know which ones we liked the most! We didn't forget about prizes either! This weekend, one of our adventures will be to go out and buy some horror goodies to send to some random folks who played! We're putting names in a hat and DMing a few random winners by Tuesday! ☆ Have a fantastic weekend and Happy Memorial Day to those in the states! xo mr & mrs
Day 26 of #abcsofhorror Letter Z. Well here we are at the end of the challenge. It was cool revisiting old classics and watching some new, well new to me anyway. For Letter Z, I chose one of my all time favorites, The Zodiac (2007) starring Jake Gyllenhaal. He did such a great job playing Robert Graysmith the author of the Zodiac book which BTW I still need to read. Anyways thanks again to @the_zombiequeen for tagging me for this challenge it was fun👍🏽And thanks to our hosts of the challenge @mrandmrshalloween as well 👏🏽#nowwatching
#abcsofhorror Z: Zodiac. While probably considered more of a crime drama, I find the movie creepy, so I’m using it.
Jake Gyllenhaal is a cartoonist for the newspaper. He becomes obsessed with finding the Zodiac after the police seem to give up. It’s less about the killer, himself, and more about the affect he had on people. #zodiac
#abcsofhorror day 19 - letter S

The Japanese tormented soul grudge match Sadako vs Kayako

Saw Sleepaway Camp for the first time last year and seen it countless times since
