Dear future self!
I can’t stop thinking about you! Who you’ll become and what you will accomplish.
Where you will go, the people you will meet, the moments you will share.
The bridges you will cross, the mountains you will climb, the roads you will walk.
The tears you will wipe, the faces you will hold, the lips you will kiss.
The best is yet to come, always!
#aintthatthetruth I was watching Celeb Master Chef, where Martin Bayfield spoke about his rugby career ending due to an injury & the tough few years which followed. Out of nowhere came Harry Potter, where he was cast as the double for Hagrid & his life changed. I’m guessing (!) he could never have seen that opportunity coming in a million years - so inspirational how life can turn upside down completely & you would never imagine the amazing things that could be on the way to you. That story will stick with me @martin_bayfield Loved it. Great cooking too, btw! #inspiration#goodthingstocome#youneverknowwhatisaroundthecorner#waitandsee#yourfutureself
The concept is so simple. Spend less then we make. The action unfortunately isn't for some of us. It just slips through our fingers each week. In it comes in and out it goes. Online shopping is at our finger tips. Social media says buy it NOW. Something we have lived without all of a sudden becomes a NEED in our lives. But you were fine beforehand weren't you?
Money is taboo. We can't seem to talk about it. We can't have real honest conversations without feeling judged or cornered. I couldn't talk about money without a possible argument with my family I'm sure, as we have very different perspectives. We need to remove the pride when talking about money. The fact things could be better. The fact that we aren't maybe doing as good as we want.
When we get a pay raise we decide to reward ourselves. Bigger house, nicer car, inflate our lifestyle or travel more. What you deserve is to reward your future self. Your possible future children. Your retirement. Give yourself that security. That's what you really deserve. It may not give you that endorphin rush, that excitement as if you were to go out and splurge now but it will in 5, 10, 20 years time. We buy so much blimmin SHIT WE DONT NEED. We buy shit for the house, the car, the kids, even the dog. That fine line between buying for enjoyment and accumulating excess. Me included. I'm a work in progress.
We think we deserve it. We DESERVE to not live pay to pay week to week or month to month. We deserve to not have that stress in our lives. There is enough stress we can't control without adding to it with things we can control. Its never to late to change your perspective on you finances. Start over. Make a plan. Give that opportunity to your future self. That person will thankyou for starting now.
Mel Ribbons was one of the key note speakers at the USANA convention this year and she was inspiring
I personally rarely, if ever, hit the snooze button
This phrase is meant literally and figuratively
Literally - the science behind why you're tired all day after hitting the snooze button a few times is based on our 75 min block sleep cycles. Each time we hit the snooze button we put ourself back in a groggy state. When we finally get up it takes our body longer, sometimes hours to actually wake and reach prime functioning.
Figuratively - this could be your metaphor for you continually putting off things/people/experiences in your life 🌟
Today it's the Full Moon, it's the perfect time to shine light on what's not working for you and create new habits.
Standing there waiting for Brayette to come through the #FinishLine ...I watched the faces of so many who conquered their race today. I saw #blood#sweat#tearsofjoy#tearsofpain#exhaustion#happiness , I saw people of all different ages, all different physical fitness levels, I saw a mother pushing 2 kids in a stroller while doing a #halfmarathon !!! 😲
I watched a gentleman cross the finish line and fall into the arms of his friend. He was completely exhausted and shaking like a leaf. He was crying tears of happiness while his friend congratulated him.
I saw a women who must have fell to the ground during her race cross the finish line in tears with blood dripping from the open wounds.
It was #PureInspiration 🤗
I watched as friends and family cheered their loved ones on. The #energy at these events is truly addictive!
I did not meet my goal today, but that is OK. I got up early, got dressed and showed up. I finished my race and got to experience my daughter doing something amazing. ❤
STEPH'S SUNDAY SKINCARE SECRETS - BE SUN SMART THIS SPRING 🌸
It's a smart move to wear hats 🧢, visors, and sun-protective ☀ clothing - it's great practice for your health and protecting your skin - plus, doing so, will fight the signs of ageing. 👍 Go for a broad brim hat and if you are outdoors a lot opt for clothing that's been protected at least to SFP 30. Partner this with sunscreen too. Your future self will thank you for it! 🙏😍
May the space between where we are and where we want to be, inspire us 💙
What's your favourite dessert?
One of Mine? Creme Burlee, this one's even vegan and flavoured with earl grey - so delicious!
This is an immediate world and its so hard to dedicate time to something that doesn't happen near as fast as you want it too....🙄 Most people give up and look for the quick fix...🤷♀️ BUT...if you are actually ready to make the change in both your eating habits and your daily routine, you can achieve something that you will NEVER regret...a better version of YOU 😍💃

Let’s paint ourselves a simple picture. Lets imagine we get this opportunity. What would that meeting look like? What are the questions you’d ask?
Better yet. What would it take to get you there?? #Repost @abbynrghealing with @get_repost
You can use this image as a landscape to meet your future self. Step into the image in your mind, feel what it feels like to be there. The more details you experience the more real the image becomes. When you feel settled, invite your future healed self to come sit with you. What do you want to ask them? Listen for their reply. What advice do they have for you? Spend time with them here for as long as you need. When you’re done give them a hug, say thank you and step back into the room where you are, back into your body. Enjoy xx

“Do something your future self will thank you for.” My daughter @itsa_hairaffair and I (& 9 other team members) leave for Washington DC for our company convention tomorrow. Samantha will be going on a plane with a 5 week old baby, taking her to meetings, and dinners, staying in a hotel, all while breastfeeding is gonna be HARD. Leaving her three other kids behind, with crazy schedules, finding family to get them on and off the bus, pre making dinners, packing lunches, making sure the laundry is done is HARD. It still hurts for her to walk for long periods of time 😬. This is going to be HARD for her and she could have opted out. But she knows this is necessary for her to grow. She’s doing it for her future self, doing it because she knows this will push her past where she is now. It’s not always easy. But it’s so worth it. You have to push through the fear and the what if’s - only you can make it happen. BUT she’s not alone! She has a tribe of supportive women and a few men cheering her on! That’s what we do-
What hard thing do you need to for your future self this week?
