I hate change, but I also understand that I have NO control over it!
It’s my reaction towards change that I can control.
For me, instead of complaining, I try to come up with a solution. How? I do two things.
1- I “Asses” the implications of this change. Let’s say I no more have 2 hours to put in the gym, I only have 45 minutes. Ok, so how am I gonna deal with this?
2- I “Adapt” to this change. I can workout at home for example. Or maybe try working out at night so I have more room. I’m not after this exact example, but the process of shifting from complaining to solving. Remember, you can always apply this process to any change in life not necessarily on fitness.
CHANGE = ASSESSMENT + ADAPTATION 👌🏼

When I eat more than the calories I burn which is 1700 calories per day I try my best to stick to the 7 habits of weight loss

A couple of weeks ago, I received something sooo precious and I didn’t even notice coz it didn’t come the way I expected. I kinda ruined the surprise instead of being thankful for finally having something I wanted for long!🙈 Bottom line, trust that He is the God of surprises who won’t let your desires left unfulfilled.

If you want to have a flat tummy you need to advance your ab routine. Believe me, doing hundreds of crunches everyday won’t get you where you want . Advanced movements burns more calories, tackle different muscle angels, keep you engaged and decreases boredom.
Some consider the gorilla chin up crunch an upper body workout but it primarily targets your core. And I won’t lie, they are fun but exhausting 🙈 Give it a shot and let me know what you guys think 😉💪🏼
I woke up today remembering everything I had last year and no longer do. One thought after the other brought all the things I miss these days, from real people to the simplest things that made my life more convenient.
Before slipping into this, I forced myself to also think about everything I have now that was once a dream. I kept telling myself “Mira, everything is going to come back“ which I truly believe :) I’m extremely grateful for everything I have now, most of which I don’t deserve and trusting that my future is in divine hands. Yes, I may be missing some things BUT LACKING NOTHING, elhamdolelah 🙏🏼

I unfortunately spasmed my back last week!
I went to the doctor and said, please deal with me as an Olympian. I have no time to waste, I’m in the midst of a camp and have no time for a passive rest. Guide me on how to fix my body and I will religiously follow it. While I’m in the process of rehabbing my back, I discovered that my neck is too stiff and shooting pain to other areas of the body! جيت الم البنطلون الجاكيت ضربة يا لينا 😂😅

I tied my hair as if I’m getting into a fight. I rolled my sleeves and still made it to the gym today, tweaked my workout, added more cardio to shed the fat the fastest and added lots of mobility work which I’m not a big fan of...
Bottom line, two things motivated me to do that: 1- Setting a timed goal. 2- Reminding myself that I have a lot to lose if I don’t stay consistent and focused. I think of the second one as even more important.
Think of what motivates you and stick to it. Remind yourself that you’re half way through and you need to finish strong. I knowwwwww you’re busy with work, have kids, need more sleep or not in the mood of working out. But believe me, investing an hour in your body a day will take you a long way. Matkaselooosh, we all got this too 💪🏼
Before complaining this morning just ask yourself, do you think you’re giving your ALL to get where you want?
Did you burn all your tank or not yet?
If the answer is no, helw, bardo forget about blaming yourself and focus on MOTIVATING it! No one who was ever blamed got any better, motivated people did.
So what if you seriously have given your ALL and still can’t see results? Then let your FAITH rule your day:) Every bottle neck is meant to pass, just BELIEVE that the best is only one step away. Keep pressing in, think differently, be creative, smile, rejoice or even dance. Depression gets you no where but faith gets you to the highest mountains.

I hate nothing more than breaking my routine, and honestly I have no idea where did it even go 🙈
Packing, moving, summer, injuries, work and traveling left me with more fat to shed. Not that I’m coming up with excuses but more of spotting the problem/twist and what should I fix.
Today I started my 6-week self challenge. It’s not a typical weight loss program, but more of challenging myself to commit again to everything I’m passionate for. My readings, self/others care and of course training and dieting. Day one is about to end, 41 more days to go 💪🏼
