You created your reality by doing what you’re already doing & buying into your present excuses and limitations.
If you’re serious about a new reality, you must do things different & think different.
***surrounding yourself with people who will push you to make the changes helps.
#TeamRootToRise - can it be our 2019 leadership retreat already?!
From the day I started this training journey, I received many messages like : "I would like to start Yoga but I am not flexible". If yoga was only dealing with flexibility, I wouldn't have taken part of this.
Yoga teaches you how to breath. How to target some muscles, some hormones, some organes. How to have compassion, towards others and yourself.
I am far from being the most flexible student right here but using probs and getting the right cues will get me closer everyday.
Just try. Give it a try. Don't make up any excuses and try. (Or book me for a session and I will help you !) #AthaYoga#AthaAirlines#KingPigeonPose

Helping yogis be creative with their own intention one word at a time.
For there to be peace on earth, we must find and cultivate peace within. Even in tones of stress or distress, we can have peace within through our attention to breath, our awareness of our thoughts and emotions and letting it be . DONA NOBIS PACEM ...grant us peace ✌️

“Really?! Weren’t you scared?!’… this is such a common response to me telling people I birthed Ari at home just Micah and I - no interventions, no midwife even (she was on the way though). I had this again last week chatting to a mum at the park.
My answer to this question is that birthing at home was where I felt the safest - birthing in hospital was what made me feel uneasy…
I hold no judgement of women who choose hospital, but the fact that homebirth is, more often than not, considered such a ‘radical’ thing to do says so much to me about the level of trust & familiarity women have in their bodies - in their feminine.
I chose a homebirth because I trusted in my body and her ability to birth.
And I was aware of the level of DIS-TRUST the medical establishment has when it comes to the feminine. So many medical treatments and procedures completely overlook a woman’s cyclical nature for instance!
This trust I had was developed over years of study and getting to know myself - through yoga, tantric practices, meditation, self-pleasure and self-enquiry - and coming to question the status quo on, well, just about everything!
I’d love women to have a greater understanding and trust in their bodies - to know their full power and potential. Not just in relation to birth but in all areas of life.
Because there’s so much junk out there keeping us small and scared and disembodied - living from our minds alone rather than from the intelligence of our hearts and pelvis.
This is why I’m so passionate about sharing the practice of feminine yoga with the world - it addresses this gap in awareness so simply and so sweetly.
It gives women an opportunity to connect with the full spectrum of their feminine energy so they can start to reclaim their bodies, sensuality, power and authority.
